Alphütte Birbäumli

Our small alpine hut is located in the municipality of Luthern, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. The access road is paved to within a few meters of the property. The village of Luthern itself is reachable in 15-20 minutes by car. The breathtaking views towards the Napf, Mount Pilatus, the Swiss Plateau, and the Jura mountains are simply dreamlike. In the morning, you'll be woken by the cuckoo and the sun, while in the evening, you can enjoy pleasant shade early on. One bedroom with a double bed is fully equipped; for the second room with three beds (including a bunk bed), please bring your own sleeping bags. A bathroom with a shower, a small kitchen with an electric stove, oven, and small fridge, as well as a cozy living room with a large table, invite you to relax. Mind your head, though... door frames are 1.70m, ceilings are 1.85m, and there are beams in between! The Napf region is a well-known paradise for biking and hiking. Two mountain restaurants (Ahorn and Brestenegg) can be reached on foot in 40 minutes. The 'Naturfreundehaus Ämmital' is accessible via a beautiful 30-minute hiking trail and is generally open on weekends during the warmer months. Heating is possible via a storage heater and a wood-burning stove. Firewood for indoor heating is included. Wood for the outdoor fire pit is available for an additional CHF 10.00 per crate (maximum of 2 crates provided).
