We own a large, historic farm in the Spreewald (10,000 m2) with its own private water access. While we use the front part for family and friends, there is a lush green meadow with various trees behind the barn right by the water. There is plenty of space there to park a small camper or pitch tents. If you don't want to bring your own tent, we can set one up for you upon request, including a table, chairs, and basic kitchen equipment. In the central part of the courtyard, there is a garden bathroom with a shower and toilet, which is supplied with well water (please note: this is not treated drinking water!). The village is tucked away from the tourist crowds, yet the town of Burg/Spreewald is only 5km away. Children, pets, and adults alike can enjoy the peace and quiet here—or let loose and have some fun. There is plenty of room to play ball or simply lounge around in a hammock.

The garden bathroom is tiled and equipped with a toilet and shower, operated by a groundwater pump. Please note that while the water is filtered, it is not treated drinking water. Use of the fire pit is only permitted upon request and depends on the current forest fire risk level. A grill is provided for your use. Power for small appliances is available in the bathroom; if you require electricity at your pitch, please bring an extension cable reel. Dogs are very welcome, but please be aware that the property is not fully fenced. We kindly ask you to keep an eye on your furry friends to maintain a peaceful relationship with our neighbors.

Electricity for small devices and charging batteries is available free of charge in the garden bathroom. If you'd like electricity directly at your pitch, a cable reel can be provided for an additional fee. Bringing your own extension cord would be beneficial. We usually have firewood available for an extra charge. Please be mindful of forest fire risk levels and our trees. We provide grills and fire pits for your use...

Our village is tucked away from the dense forests and the tourist crowds. For kayak trips into the Hochwald, we recommend using the rental services in Leipe. For a relaxing paddle right on our doorstep, we offer our own kayaks in exchange for a small donation.

Gerlinde makes a wonderful property available, with plenty of trees but also lots of sunny spots. The grounds are pleasantly natural. She lovingly provides items for use and has set up a self-service cupboard. Contact with her is also direct and friendly. Thank you so much for everything. I will definitely come back again!
Just like last year, everything worked out perfectly. This time we didn't meet Gerlinde in person, but we were always provided with all the information we needed. The spot is simply fantastic, has everything you need, and we will probably come back for a third time—there is still so much to discover there and, above all, many ice cream flavors left to try at the ice cream parlor in Burg. Maybe... most likely see you next year!
The place is wonderful and so green. We were able to relax really well there. Communication with Volkmar and Gerlinde was super easy and straightforward. We'd love to come back :)

Great property right on a stream, and you can rent a 2-person kayak for a good price. Very quiet, ideal for relaxing. During our 4-day stay, there was only one other couple there at a time. Really nice people. Gerlinde is also very kind and everything was straightforward. Simple bathroom with toilet and shower, everything clean. We would love to come back.
A picture-perfect hostess! We were looked after in the most wonderful and elegant way—even from a distance. Gerlinde is the guardian angel of this little grove, where we were able to breathe a deep sigh of relief the moment we stepped onto the property.
It is located in a very idyllic spot! We were able to get to Burg and Vetschau quickly, and there was plenty for the children to do. We also enjoyed some quiet relaxation in the host's garden, which is beautifully maintained. We received great instructions for everything and stayed in touch by phone. Thanks again! It was unforgettably beautiful.
Relaxing days full of peace and quiet in the shade of many trees. Anyone who prefers tranquility will get their money's worth here. We went paddling on the stream and enjoyed a lot of peace there too, far from the tourist crowds. Everything you need is available, even if the pictures are no longer quite up to date.
