Camping in the Ore Mountains

Bergbachübernachtung an der Grenze

Germany-09496 Marienberg
Discover our serene tent pitches nestled on the outskirts of the charming hamlet of Rübenau, right on the Czech border. A bit further away, you'll also find a dedicated motorhome pitch. Guests share a dry toilet, a cozy fire pit, and a refreshing washing area. Our tent pitches are idyllically situated on a mountain meadow, shaded by trees, directly alongside the border stream. You have the freedom to choose your perfect spot, surrounded by trees and bushes, anywhere where the grass isn't too high. The area is a haven of biodiversity, surrounded by rich natural landscapes and protected areas. The nearest houses are several hundred meters away, ensuring complete privacy for your pitch. Access is via a public road and a private track. The renowned Kammweg (a quality hiking trail) is just a 10-minute walk away. We provide tables and seating, a fire pit with a fire bowl and complimentary firewood (please use responsibly and observe fire safety rules!), the stream bank for washing/bathing, and a dry toilet on the hillside (key details in booking info). The surrounding areas are dedicated to nature conservation and are open for exploration, but please tread gently. Please note, there's a private toilet/tool shed and a private circus wagon near the pitches that are not for guest use. Above the quarry, you'll be treated to a magnificent view of Rübenau village (perfect for enjoying the evening sun, access at your own risk).
