Right on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The pitch is paved and has a slight slope towards the lake (leveling blocks are recommended). It is located directly by the water in a large parking area at the ferry terminal. The ferry operates from April to October, connecting Gersau and Beckenried. We run a bistro serving light snacks, open daily from 8:00 AM to approximately 6:00 PM. In summer, a dip in the refreshing water is simply wonderful. SUP and kayak rentals are available. Kayak half-day rental: CHF 30.- including life jacket and paddle. SUP full-day rental: CHF 20.- including life jacket and paddle. Not the most charming at first, but with potential!! At first a somewhat plain parking lot and nothing but asphalt, but in return, the lake is right on your doorstep!!! And the most beautiful town in Switzerland is at your feet, which is definitely worth a visit! Conclusion - plain spot - ideal as a stopover, for hiking, and for visiting Gersau!! The cheesecake at Restaurant Traube is top-notch!! Pay directly if possible, it saves fees!!! 30 francs per night, we had almost 90 for two nights!!

Very friendly hosts and a great parking spot right next to the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Beautiful view, gorgeous blue water and kind people. But you're parked in a spot between the road and the check-in lanes for the ferry. No space for chairs or even an awning. We were there in warm weather, and the asphalt was way too hot, especially for our dog. We don't consider this a 'camper spot.' Despite having booked (and paid) through Nomady, we left.

I spent a few wonderful days right by the lake. The contact with Gunvor and her family was very pleasant. Gunvor gave me great advice regarding excursions. However, since it was very hot, I spent most of my time out on the kayak. I was able to rent the kayak from them at a good price. I also really enjoyed the possibility of taking a refreshing dip in the lake directly at the site. I would love to come back.
