You can park your vehicle on a clean, level surface. Nestled against the fir forest on the hillside and offering an open view of the Stierenberg and the Glarus Alps from the front, you'll find yourself in a tranquil, secluded spot. A small toilet and a separate shower are located about 50 meters away. A simple barbecue area is available for your use (exception: increased forest fire risk due to dry periods and strong winds). Running water from our own spring is available at the fountain. Seasonally, you can even dig up potatoes! Show the kids where potatoes really come from. (One portion per person included in the price).

We really enjoyed our stay and felt completely at home. Christoph was an exceptionally welcoming host. The pitch for the vehicle is concrete and level. We particularly appreciated the peace and quiet of the place. Such quiet spots close to nature have become rare in Switzerland these days.

There really are plenty of fir trees, plus great views and peace and quiet (apart from the birds' concert starting at half past five). And above all, a host friendlier than we could ever imagine. Thank you, Christoph! Highly recommended for camping.

Christoph was a very warm and attentive host who really spoiled us, whether it was lighting a fire for our barbecue, providing hammocks in the garden, or offering homemade farm ice cream from a local farm. The pitch has everything you need. It is in a somewhat secluded location right on the edge of the forest, so you can enjoy the beautiful view and the peace and quiet. Even so, it's only a 15-minute drive to Lake Hallwil, where you can cool off. The toilet is located in the house right next to the entrance, and there is a water trough/fountain outside. The pitch gets morning sun, and there are several shady spots on the property. We really enjoyed our stay at Christoph's.
