The Eckhof is a former traditional four-sided farmstead featuring a sprawling meadow right behind the main buildings. Located in a charming village in the Fläming region with about 90 residents, it offers the perfect balance of rural peace and accessibility. We are just 4 km from the Flämingskate, the airfield, and the festival grounds in Altes Lager / Niedergörsdorf (home to the airfield events, Secret Forest, Wurzelfestival, and Motorcycle Jamboree). You can reach Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Luckenwalde, Bad Belzig, and Beelitz in 30 minutes, while Potsdam, Berlin, and Brandenburg an der Havel are just an hour away. The site offers approximately 4,500 sqm of meadow space with power (220/400V) and water connections (available during frost-free periods). Situated on the edge of the village, the site includes two waterless composting toilets. A washing machine and dishwashing facilities with hot water are available. A fire pit with firewood and a classic beer garden table set can be borrowed free of charge. An on-site contact person is available to assist you. We warmly welcome everyone—regardless of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or lifestyle. We stand for tolerance and have created a space where everyone can feel safe and at home. Hallo, wir sind Katrin und Torsten, wohnen im Moment noch in Potsdam und wollen auf dem Eckhof eine Hofgemeinschaft mit unterschiedlichen Nutzenden aufbauen. Einige Mieter wohnen bereits dort. Nach und nach soll der Hof saniert werden, wir wollen auch weitere Angebote für Einzelreisende und Gruppen schaffen. Wir sind Ü50, haben zwei Kinder in Ausbildung und haben beide Berufe, die sich gut mit diesem großen Projekt vereinbaren lassen. Wenn wir auf dem Hof sind (meistens am Wochenende oder ab und zu auch mal abends in der Woche) freuen wir uns auch über einen kleinen Plausch mit den Gästen, wir sind immer neugierig auf Menschen und ihre Geschichten, die sie mitbringen. Ruhe ist aber auch was Feines, und die gibt es auf dem Eckhof, wenn man das möchte...

You'll find two dry composting toilets on the meadow, no flush. There are plenty of electricity and water connections available, with 220/400 V power and Schuko sockets. Please bring adapters if needed. A washing machine and a warm water dishwashing facility are on-site (kitchen is currently under construction). Enjoy a large fire pit with firewood, and feel free to borrow a beer garden set. Smaller seating areas and a charming Hollywood swing are tucked away in the meadow for your use. Dogs are welcome, possibly by arrangement, as there's another (small) dog on the property. Please note that water connections and the outdoor shower (with warm water) can only be used when there's no frost. Currently, there's no black water disposal option – but we're working on it!

Currently, we don't have facilities for black water disposal (toilet cassettes, etc.). We're working on it!

The water connections on the lawn and the outdoor hot shower are only available when there is no risk of frost.

The grounds are very spacious, and we typically don't accept more than two bookings at a time, ensuring you have plenty of room to relax and enjoy!

There's a fully equipped summer kitchen featuring a sink with hot water, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, dishwasher, and washing machine. Feel free to use everything at your convenience!

Discover numerous nature reserves and parks perfect for hiking, walking, and exploring the natural beauty of the region, such as the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park. Don't miss the impressive shifting sand dune near Luckenwalde and the historic former Zinna Monastery, famous for its herbal liqueur. The Fläming Skateway, Europe's longest track for skaters (and also fantastic for cyclists!), is just 4 kilometers away. In just 25 minutes, you can explore the charming, hidden-in-the-woods Rabenstein Castle, accessible via a lovely hiking trail from the village of Raben. The village of Altes Lager offers small museums detailing its predominantly military history. Nearby towns include Jüterbog (8 km), Treuenbrietzen with its quaint historic old town (9 km), Lutherstadt Wittenberg (30 minutes) with its Castle Church and Luther's former home, and the vibrant cities of Potsdam and Berlin (each an hour away). Not 5 stars because, despite everything being great, we were bothered by the number of wind turbines in the visible vicinity. Depending on the wind direction, you can hear the rotation of the large blades from the beautiful meadow pitch. Since we were only traveling with our small tent, it didn't bother us. We were able to set up camp near the kitchen/old caravans. It was wonderful there. Surrounded by all kinds of birdsong and very peaceful. Ms. Fischer, thank you very much for the warm welcome upon our arrival. You showed us everything we needed on the site and we were able to find our way around perfectly afterwards. Everything is exactly as described in the listing. The warm outdoor shower is also already there. However, this might need a bit of fine-tuning. The warm water ended up being rather cold whenever the gas burner automatically switched off. ;-) And a well-meaning tip for the operators: if you decide to install another toilet, perhaps plan for a slightly larger space. For tall people with long arms and legs, the room is a bit cramped. Also, there are composting toilet systems where the containers for liquids and solids are a bit further apart. We have sat on many such models, and with your model, it's more likely that the solids slide towards the front. Dear Katrin, the descriptions were all great and the additional information is very helpful (in case Ms. Fischer isn't there, who already explains and shows everything perfectly). Great spot to stay overnight, very quiet location and plenty of space! The owners are also very friendly, we would love to come back! :)

We were able to choose our own spot on a large meadow. Katrin and Torsten are very nice people and are happy to answer any questions you may have. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. Everything was very straightforward, and the dogs had plenty of space to run around. We would love to come back.
