At an altitude of nearly 700 meters, we offer a campsite with breathtaking views stretching from the Hörnleberg across the Kandel to the Feldberg, and on the other side, overlooking the Kaiserstuhl all the way to the Rhine Valley. The pitch is located about 100m from our farm. We are happy to share our small playground (slide, swing, and various toy vehicles) with your children. We are perfectly situated above the Kandelhöhenweg, the Zweitälersteig, and the Freiamt Panorama Trail. In good weather, you can enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets. The site is located above a meadow and is easily accessible via a farm track. The toilet is located in our private farmhouse and can be used by arrangement when we are at home.

Wir wohnen idyllisch und abgelegen auf unserem still gelegten kleinen Bauernhof. Wir sind eine 5-köpfige Familie mit 3 süße fiten Jungs mit denen wir uns viel draußen aufhalten um die Natur zu genießen. Unsere Weide werden von Pensionskühen/Rindern bewirtschaftet und vom Opa in Schuss gehalten. Wir selbst bewirtschaften auf den Hof mehrere Hühner mit Chef Hahn "Jacko" und zwei Zwergkaninchen.

This stay was incredibly beautiful 🤩 unfortunately we only had time for one night! Our two Picards 🐕🐕‍🦺 were also very relaxed and happy! Karsten's tip to walk to the vending machine was also great—lovely refreshing drinks, even though we continued on to the Naturfreunde for dinner, it was just beautiful. The shower and toilet, when the hosts are there, are 100% clean and pleasant. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back. Many thanks, Veró & Simon

For us, it was a great pitch for our tents. Naturally, the meadow was brown after the multiple heatwaves and extreme drought. The nights were unusually warm. In the summer, with no trees to the east, you are exposed to the morning sun quite early. The place has a lot of magic. Contact with the hosts was relaxed and very warm at all times. We'd gladly come back another time.

The hosts are truly great, very friendly and always ready to help. The campsite itself is breathtaking – a beautiful landscape where you can completely switch off and enjoy nature. Shopping facilities for all the essentials are only about 10 kilometers away, yet at the camp, you are in absolute and wonderful isolation. The only unpleasantness happened on our last day: while we were preparing our dinner, two women came up to us and demanded that we extinguish our fire immediately because of a fire ban. We were aware of the ban, but we were grilling in a fire bowl, so the fire was completely controlled and safe. However, to avoid an escalation and the involvement of the police, we put out the fire – and unfortunately went hungry that evening.

We spent 2 very good nights in a tent. The ground is nice and flat, at the top of a hill with a magnificent view of the Black Forest. Direct access to many cycling and walking trails. Quite a windy spot.
