Gletschermoräne Degenberg

Please note regarding access: The roadwork crew is on holiday, so for the next 3 weeks, the road is accessible from both sides. Starting Monday, August 4th, work resumes and the road will be closed from the Schwyz direction. From then on, we are only accessible via Ibach. Follow the route: Ibach village - Asetstrasse - Laimgasse; be sure to take the 2nd street on the right. There is a broom placed by the side of the road as a marker. ************************************************************* Alongside our dairy cows and other farm animals, you can enjoy panoramic views over the Schwyz valley, from the valley floor right up to the peaks. Your camp is practically at the foot of the Fronalpstock, the Rotenfluh, and the two Mythen mountains, and close to the Urmiberg and Rigi Hochflue. Below the Degenberg, the Muota river flows through the village of Ibach towards Brunnen. There are excursion opportunities in every direction by foot, bike, or bus. Mountains like the Fronalpstock, Rotenflue, the Mythen, or the Rigihochfluh offer various high-altitude trails and fantastic hiking. The mountain village of Stoos is easily reached via the world's steepest funicular, and the nearby Muotathal features a unique 'Joke Trail'. For swimming, you can choose between the refreshing Lake Lucerne or the warmer Lake Lauerz at the Seewen lido. Nearby at Asetstr. 35 (Alte Spinnerei Ibach), you'll find an indoor playground, a bouldering/climbing wall, and a large second-hand shop. If you are traveling with two cars for any reason, there is enough space for them to park side-by-side on the single pitch.
