A warm welcome to our peaceful little farming village at the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. Our expansive relaxation grounds along the Wiesent river are located directly opposite our traditional three-sided farmstead. Here you can chill out, enjoy a coffee, jump on the trampoline, spot trout, dragonflies, beavers, and bats, or even take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the Wiesent. The property features a private jetty, a summer kitchen, and a fire pit. In the mornings, while watering the garden, you are welcome to harvest and enjoy crisp, fresh lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, pattypan squash, chard, celery, tomatoes, basil, chives, beans, and more. Just let us know if you're interested! Our village has a small playground and a brand-new ping-pong table. Just 2 km away, you’ll find several supermarkets and a truly idyllic outdoor swimming pool. Our own private one-kilometer stretch of salmonid fishing waters meanders right past the leisure grounds. Fly fishers can book day passes directly with us.

For the kids, there's a landing net they can use to try and catch crayfish from the river. A dinghy is tied up at the dock, ready for fun, and there's a bouncy trampoline on the lawn. Plus, you'll find a brand-new ping-pong table at the village playground! :-)

Just a one-night stay, for that it was alright. The spot by the stream below the pitch was very picturesque. Kitchen and toilet were each in a pavilion / tent. We didn't want to use the toilet. Not very inviting, didn't match the photo on the website. Disinfectant spray alone isn't enough. We think €33 is a bit too much.

The pitch is situated in a beautiful spot on a meadow and under trees by the ice-cold and wonderfully refreshing Wiesent river, which winds through the picturesque Franconian landscape. Alexis gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around: the composting toilet in a tent, the small outdoor kitchen where there was even beer available. A great little spot with very lovely hosts, and thanks as well for the nice and interesting chat over morning tea, Alexis's dear wife (unfortunately I forgot your name 🥹) – highly recommended!

We stayed at this quiet spot from Thursday to Sunday. Very idyllic and a great place to relax. Two kitties stopped by every now and then for a cuddle ☺️. Composting toilet 👍 and a small outdoor kitchen 👍. Alexis was super nice and gave us a warm welcome. We really enjoyed it 🌞⛺ and can highly recommend this wonderful place.

I stayed for one night and had a fun evening by the campfire with the other campers. I also found the gas stove really practical. The only thing that was a bit bothersome was the church next door, which started ringing its bells in the morning. But that's just how it is in the countryside. All in all, a nice place that I highly recommend.

A beautiful, quiet spot, idyllically situated by a clear and cool stream (with its own swimming area). The site is wonderfully designed and furnished with great attention to detail. The host is very friendly and helpful. All in all, this place is highly recommended if you want to unwind and meet some really nice people. Would love to come back.

We stayed with Alexis with our tent. We were warmly welcomed and shown around by Alexis's wife. The location here at the gateway to Franconian Switzerland is very idyllic. You have every opportunity to go hiking, cycling, or simply relax. However, one thing that was less than ideal is that the toilet tent is located right on the tent lawn, meaning you are directly exposed to all the sounds, smells, and sights. The power supply is also very adventurous and provisionally installed. Unfortunately, the power cuts out at regular intervals due to overloading. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun and a good time.

Der defekte FI - Schalter ist nun ausgetauscht, und jetzt haben alle Plätze wieder zuverlässig Strom. Die Konstellation mit der Toilette wird seit einem Jahr ohne negative Rückmeldungen genutzt. Die Gastgebenden prüfen dies mit weiteren Gästen und freuen sich über weiteres Feedback.

A beautiful, quiet, and idyllic place! Superbly equipped! There was a small outdoor kitchen with a hob and sink that we were able to use. Sun loungers, firewood—everything was there! The hosts were incredibly nice and we had a great evening. We would love to come back! A place to recharge your batteries and relax!
