Hof Ferdinandslust - ZELTPLÄTZE mit Panoramablick

Hello everyone and welcome! We are Stefan and Julia, and we manage this farm as a secondary occupation, along with our four young children. Our farm is located right near the highest point of Schienerberg (approx. 716 meters above sea level). The farm is about 1.5 km from the center of a friendly village of around 800 inhabitants. Here, you'll find the village 'Lädele' (small shop), a charming spot for groceries, a coffee or tea, and various delicious treats, perfect for lingering. We are also directly on the edge of the forest, surrounded by traditional orchards and fields. It's an idyllic setting that invites you to dream. On clear days, especially with a Föhn wind, you'll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view from our meadows, stretching all the way to the Alps, with the Säntis peak seemingly standing out. Our gravel pitches offer a relaxed and picturesque backdrop for your stay. Tents are also welcome on our meadows. It's quite possible you'll receive visits from our free-roaming animals, such as our grey farm geese, Indian runner ducks, and chickens. Our bronze turkeys, however, are in their spacious outdoor enclosures. We have direct access to various hiking trails and viewpoints. And we are only 5 km from the lake. We have our own playground, which families with children are welcome to use at their own risk. Parents are responsible for their children. Furthermore, we have a WC facility accessible via a 7-step outdoor staircase behind the house, which is not barrier-free. Water, electricity, firewood, a grill, and our fire pit can be provided upon request. Dogs are generally welcome, but we kindly ask for your careful supervision, as we have free-roaming farm animals, as mentioned. We look forward to your visit! Family Kuppel
