Our campsite is set on a spacious forest and meadow area and is easily accessible thanks to the nearby main road. Just about 80 meters away, a refreshing dip in the stream awaits—perfect after a hike, bike ride, or on a hot summer day. A swimming lake is also just a 10-minute bike ride away. For those who like to stay active, there is plenty to discover in the area: hiking, mountaineering, cycling along the Drau Cycle Path, gorge hikes, and a nearby climbing park. The stunning nature of Carinthia starts practically right on your doorstep. The site is ideal for guests who love the outdoors, appreciate peace and nature, and are looking for a hassle-free base for day trips. Wake up to greenery in the morning, spend the day by the water or in the mountains, and return in the evening to your own private spot—completely free from the hustle and bustle of a crowded campsite. 🌿 Forest & meadow pitch This is essentially a single private pitch all to yourselves during your stay. Amenities & Important Information A toilet and washbasin are located at the farm, just a 1.5 to 2-minute walk (measured 130 m) from the pitch. The toilet is reserved for guests during their stay. Important hygiene rule: The toilet is only about a minute away and must be used exclusively. Relieving yourself in the forest, meadow, or pitch area, as well as disposing of human waste in the general waste bin, is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate expulsion without refund. Electricity, drinking water, and an outdoor (solar) shower are available directly at the pitch. The shower water temperature depends on the weather. In addition, there is a fire pit, a Weber kettle grill, outdoor seating, a general waste bin for normal household trash, and dog waste bags. High-voltage electricity and charcoal are available upon request. Barbecuing is permitted both on the provided kettle grill and at the designated fire pit, provided current weather and wildfire conditions allow it. Please never leave fires unattended. The pitch is deliberately kept natural. A dedicated common room is nevertheless accessible. Forest, meadow, stream, and numerous leisure activities are located directly in the surrounding area. A kayak, a small inflatable boat, and two SUPs can be rented for a small fee.

🚻 Toilets & Hygiene Please exclusively use the designated toilet on the farm (approx. a 1-minute walk away). Relieving yourself in the forest, on the meadow, or at your pitch, as well as disposing of human waste in the general household trash, is strictly prohibited. Non-compliance may result in immediate expulsion without a refund.

🔥 Fires & Barbecues Fires and the barbecue may only be used in designated areas. Never leave a fire unattended and ensure it is completely extinguished before leaving. In dry conditions, during periods of heightened wildfire risk, or upon official notice, open fires are strictly prohibited.

🌿 Nature & Grounds Please treat nature, wildlife, and the grounds with respect, do not leave any trash behind, and leave the pitch as clean as you found it.

🐾 Animals on the farm: Please do not feed the animals or enter their enclosures without prior arrangement.

📌 On-site Instructions: Please follow the host's instructions regarding safety, animals, fire, use of the grounds, and the available facilities.

🤝 Mutual Respect Please be considerate of people, animals, and nature. Unnecessary noise and disruptive behavior should be avoided.

It's important to me that we resolve things as quickly and smoothly as possible. 🐕 Leash policy for dogs: Dogs are warmly welcome, but must be kept on a leash throughout the entire grounds as well as in the adjacent forest and meadow areas. The surrounding area is home to abundant wildlife, and there are also farm animals on site. Please ensure that dogs do not roam freely or chase wild animals.

🐶 Dog waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of properly without exception throughout the entire property, as well as in the adjacent forest and meadow areas.

Single pitch & Arrival/Departure: This is primarily an individual pitch. However, brief overlaps may occasionally occur on arrival and departure days. It is very important to me that arrival and departure are completely stress-free for everyone—so there is no time pressure. There is plenty of space on the property for multiple parties to stay temporarily without any hassle.

Toilet: As is typical for campsites, the toilet is not located directly at the pitch, but on the farm and can be reached in about a 1-minute walk.

There are endless opportunities for hiking, mountaineering, and cycling. The Tscheppaschlucht gorge, with its treetop adventure park and canyoning, is located very close by. You can take a refreshing dip just about 80 meters from the pitch, and numerous swimming lakes in the surrounding area are quickly accessible by bike. Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and other outdoor activities are also available nearby.

We had a few lovely days at Chris's place. The welcome was warm, the pitch was very private, and the proximity to the crystal-clear stream was wonderful🌞 We would only deduct one star due to the rather long walk to the toilet (about 5 mins) and the proximity to the busy road, which you can therefore hear. However, this also means there is really good infrastructure, bus connections, etc. All in all: Thank you so much, we would love to come back:)

The beautiful Waidischbach stream is easily accessible via a path through a small wood. The stream offers crystal-clear, cool water. However, unfortunately, the banks of the stream were crowded with visitors on this particular weekend. Despite Chris's confirmation that we could arrive early, the pitch was unfortunately still occupied, which really bothered us as we had to wait for about 2 hours (a communication error). A toilet is available, but it is quite far from the pitch, and if it's urgent, it gets tricky. Due to the proximity of the main road, you hear a lot of traffic noise. It can also happen that you hear music in the evening. If you are looking for peace and quiet, that is also bothersome. The eggs cost 50 cents each and are very small. Summary: Not a good option for those seeking peace and quiet. Ideal for people passing through! The pitch is small, with a fire pit and a table. There is plenty of shade.

It is an idyll close to the water. We really liked the place and Christiane was exceptionally friendly and helpful... we had fun by the fire under the shooting stars. The property and the toilet are right next door and didn't bother us... Many thanks to Christiane and greetings
