Enjoy a truly unique experience within the historic walls of the village of Vettigné: here, you can actually sleep in a castle! The large, fenced grounds offer peace and tranquility in an atmospheric setting where history meets adventure. The vast, flat lawns within Vettigné's historic center provide plenty of space and privacy for several travel groups. You can also pitch a tent right in the castle courtyard for an unforgettable stay. When booking, please don't forget to provide your phone number so you can get in touch with Enrica. This ancient medieval village in the Vercelli area dates back to around 1460 and was gradually abandoned starting in the middle of the last century. Today, we are working to transform this beautiful property into a cultural and educational center. If you book in advance, you can enjoy wonderful open-air meals or treat yourself to our delicious breakfast. Honey, rice, jams, and seasonal produce from the garden can be purchased directly on-site.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful location! The surroundings are unique and blissfully quiet. It was truly special to wander around a place like this with no crowds in sight. Enrica shared the history behind the castle with us, which made the experience complete. As mentioned in several other reviews, bringing mosquito spray for the evening is an absolute must, but with that sorted, you can sit back and truly enjoy the peace and quiet under a starlit night sky! The breakfast was worth every single cent!! We enjoyed it immensely, and that alone would make us want to return! It was delicious! Thank you so much for your great care, Enrica, and hopefully see you next time!

Enrica's campsite is wonderful. Everything is available just as described. Enrica is very, very warm and welcoming ❤️, spoiling anyone who likes with delicious cakes and home-baked bread. Upon request, she even baked pretzel rolls 😁 which were delicious. Her breakfast offer is also fantastic. And it's no exaggeration, she truly deserved more than 5 🌟. I really had 4 wonderful nights in a tent at Burghof 😁👍👍👍

Great and quiet spot. Enrica is warm and helpful. Shower, toilet, and electricity available. There is space for about 8 campers, so you're not alone. Thank you very much for the stay!
