The site is situated on a small hill, offering magnificent panoramic views of Mount Säntis and Lake Constance. It is a very peaceful location, set well away from the main road, making it an ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes. You will be surrounded by cows, goats, and chickens—complete with the sound of cowbells at night. Amenities include electricity, water, a shower, and a compost toilet. A restaurant serving excellent cuisine is within walking distance, and you can also purchase fresh eggs on-site. A bus stop is also just a short walk away. On your day of arrival, please call us around lunchtime to confirm your arrival time.

What a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back. Erich was a super host; extremely kind and always available for us. We had electricity, water, an outdoor 'BIO' toilet, and a shower. He even brought us tomatoes from his garden. An ideal location for a break in the middle of nature and surrounded by many cows that kept us company. Thank you so much Erich, see you soon!

A total change of scenery in the middle of the cows! View of the Säntis. Even though Erich doesn't speak French or English, and we don't speak German... we managed to understand each other just fine.

Staying at Erich's was wonderful. Whether it was the beautifully elevated pitch, the wide and interestingly beautiful view, the original and clean compost toilet, the simple but functional shower, or the very likeable and generous host Erich. We can only recommend Jonashügel and Erich 😉.
