It offers the perfect blend of a tent and a house: you can hear every sound of nature while remaining fully protected from the elements in a cozy, cocoon-like atmosphere. With soft sheepskin under your feet and the warmth of the fire on your skin, you’ll treat yourself and your loved ones to a truly sensory experience! Our 'Hofgmeinschaft Bärebach' farm is located at 950m and has NO ROAD ACCESS. The infrastructure is very simple, giving you the feeling of staying in a secluded alpine hut. The farm is wonderfully remote—you won't find peace and quiet like this anywhere else! Listen to the chiming of cowbells and the gentle sounds of Mother Nature, let your thoughts wander, and truly unwind: this is pure deep relaxation! We are located in the heart of the Gantrisch Nature Park, which offers many excursion possibilities for the whole family. There is something for everyone here. Or visit us to rediscover the night sky: the Gantrisch area is famous for its low light pollution and crystal-clear views of the stars. Right by the yurt, you will find a BBQ area and a compost toilet. At our farmhouse (approx. 150m away), there is also an outdoor kitchen and a bathroom/WC. We look forward to giving you a warm welcome to 'Hofgmeinschaft Bärebach'! IMPORTANT: Please note that there is NO VEHICLE ACCESS to the farm. The final part of the path leads across cattle, yak, and sheep pastures. From the 'Milken Steinern' bus stop, it is a 15-minute walk to the farm, and from our parking lot in Milken, it is about 20 minutes. You will need sturdy footwear and should definitely arrive during daylight hours. A flashlight is highly recommended at night.

What a lovely find this was! We were in a rush to book something for the weekend and we ended up discovering Bärenbach! Both Chris and Ama were fantastic from the moment we were in touch, giving us all the details on how to get there, what to expect and what to do! The yurt was placed in a corner of their farm giving you total privacy and the only sounds you can hear during the day are the hum of a distant car or a plane. We even met two deers who were curious and came around. This is perfect for a big family of some friends to enjoy together. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. And on top of all of that, they have some fantastic home made products at the farm you can buy! We will definitely go back!

Beautiful, secluded area. The hosts are friendly and reserved, but help immediately with any issues or questions. The yurt itself is no longer in the best shape – lots of moisture with, let's say, black discoloration, especially around the entrance area of the roof. Unfortunately, there were also no outdoor seating options during our stay. The outdoor toilet wasn't ready either, so we often had to make our way to the main house. Looking at the farm surroundings, you can see how much work is still needed; so many "work-in-progress areas" simply can't be handled all at once. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my getaway there and will probably come back again ;-) Now I know the way.

We received a very warm welcome and immediately felt right at home. The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, the yurt was overbooked, but we were able to stay in the cozy parlor instead – which was also a wonderful experience. Thank you very much for your flexibility and hospitality!
