La Fermada micro-ferme permaculture

We welcome you to La Fermada, nestled between the forest and our permaculture vegetable garden. The gravel area can accommodate vans and large motorhomes, while the grassy area is reserved for tents. A table and chairs overlooking the garden are at your disposal, as well as a shelter with a large table and chairs for rainy days. You will also find a barbecue, electricity with an extension reel, and drinking water at the fountain in front of the farmhouse. The site is equipped with dry toilets and a sink with a water container. The setting is very peaceful, in the heart of the Parc Jura Vaudois. This is a secluded farm far from the village with only one neighbor. The parking area has been renovated to better accommodate heavy motorhomes; it also doubles as a great pétanque court for you to enjoy. There is only one campsite, so the entire space will be reserved just for you. It is the perfect starting point for magnificent nature hikes at the foot of the Jura and towards the Arboretum d'Aubonne, where you can also go fishing. If you take the small path leading down into the forest from the camp, you will find a small wild river. Children will love the trampoline, sandbox with toys, and hammock. The Signal de Bougy playground is just a 5-minute drive away. By car, you are 15 minutes from Lake Geneva, where you can choose from several beaches. You can also go by bike, but be prepared for the uphill climb on the way back! Shops and restaurants are located in the nearby villages, just a 5-minute drive away.
