The camp is set along our private road, nestled among the wooded pastures typical of the Neuchâtel Jura, high above the Val-de-Travers. A hiking trail leads through a fir forest to a clearing featuring dry-stone walls and a cave. A magical path enhances this heavenly setting. At your camp, you will find complete solitude far away from civilization—the perfect place to recharge your batteries. The hiking trail connecting Les Bayards to the Lac des Taillères (La Brévine) runs right through the forest and the clearing, allowing you to discover a picture-postcard landscape with a unique charm. The camp offers no sanitary facilities, but rewards you with unmatched peace and seclusion.

Incredibly beautiful pitch in the middle of nature! Since the pastures are currently not in use, we were exceptionally allowed to park our motorhome wherever we wanted on the large forest clearing. Deceleration and relaxation from the very first minute. Communication with Suzanne and Jean-Pierre was absolutely uncomplicated, friendly, and very nice. We will certainly not be at this beautiful place for the last time!

One of my absolute favorite spots. Suzanne and Jean-Pierre are very warm hosts, their Gruyère is top-notch, and the campsites are gorgeous. When you can set up right at the top of the pasture, like now in August because the cows aren't up there (yet), it's absolute paradise. A 50-minute hike through the forests of the Neuchâtel Jura and you can swim in the Lac des Taillères. It hardly gets any better than this.
