Perched at 1,200 meters above sea level, you'll find our stunning Shelter Brändlen. Thanks to direct access via the 'Buirä-Bähndli' cable car and its proximity to an organic farm, you are well-connected yet completely secluded in nature. The self-service cable car runs 24/7 from Wolfenschiessen, giving you total independence. The shelter sleeps four people and is lockable. Please remember to bring your own sleeping mat, sleeping bag, and everything else you need for an overnight stay.

You will need to bring your own sleeping mat and sleeping bag—ideally a thicker air mattress for extra comfort. Please keep in mind that at an altitude of 1,200 meters, nights can get quite chilly during the shoulder season.

The Brändlen area is situated at approximately 1,200 meters above sea level, perched above Wolfenschiessen, offering sweeping views across the Engelberg Valley to the surrounding mountain ranges. Gentle alpine pastures, scattered farmsteads, and small patches of woodland define the scenery, creating a peaceful and easily accessible natural landscape. Despite its proximity to an organic farm, the location feels secluded, offering plenty of space for relaxation and breathtaking vistas.

Amazing spot, great view and it is very quiet. 4 stars because it was dirty inside the Cabin. But we loved the place and we would love to come back.
The shelter is spacious and fairly new with a closed room feel. The scenery around it makes the whole experience enthralling. Very easy to find it. There is everything you need for a couple of nights stay.
The little cabin is adorable and provides a feeling of total serenity. To get there, there is a self-service cable car available 24 hours a day! Thanks for everything!
The overnight stay in the shelter was exceptionally beautiful and we enjoyed it very much! Communication with Pirmin was excellent and we felt completely safe throughout. We would love to come back! :-)
