Camping in Lower Saxony
Panoramablick unter Kastanie
Germany-31749 Auetal
On our meadow, secluded from the village and close to the forest, you have the unique opportunity to spend the night under an old chestnut tree next to a paddock. This spot is surrounded by abundant nature: in front of you stretches the picturesque landscape of the Auetal, characterized by gentle hills, forests, meadows, and charming small villages. Next to you, horses graze (seasonally). Of course, you can drive your car directly to your overnight spot via a gravel path. On our farm (about a 2-minute walk away), you'll have direct access to a separate, fully equipped kitchen that you can use during your stay (coffee and tea included, as well as spices like pepper, salt, and sugar). Additionally, a separate toilet with a sink is available for your convenience. The lively atmosphere on the farm allows everyone to connect with others as they wish or simply enjoy their own peace and quiet. Our tent/pitch site is also ideally located for travelers passing through, as it's only about a 6-minute drive from the A2 motorway. The tranquility and seclusion of the small village make it a perfect place for nature lovers and those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding area is a true paradise for hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers. Horse riders will also find their joy here, enjoying hours of rides in nature. Come and enjoy the beauty of this landscape and experience unforgettable moments amidst the nature of the Auetal. We look forward to welcoming you!

From the site, you can head straight out on walks with your dog. If there are no horses next to the camp, you can also let your dog run off-leash in the meadow. Only the fence facing the horses is electrified; all other sides of your campsite are completely safe and non-electrified.

Mobile reception
Right at the campsite, a bench and table are waiting for you. You'll find power for small devices in the fully equipped kitchen—though not out on the pasture, of course! ;-) In the kitchen, you'll also find camping chairs that you're welcome to take to your camp during your stay. Coffee and tea are provided in the kitchen as well; please help yourself. The kitchen and toilet are located 350m from the camp on our farm and are always open, so no key is required. Mobile reception depends on your provider and varies from spot to spot, as is typical for a village. We've actually had good experiences on the meadow, but if you don't have a signal, just try again 10m further away. In our experience, you'll have reception everywhere on the D1/Telekom network.

Very quiet spot and great host!
A wonderful spot with a wide view over the field.
Laura is a very lovely host!
We really enjoyed being able to make a stopover there on our trip. Thank you very much
The place is simply fantastic.
We were only there for one night, but we were still able to relax really well.
Everything you need is available; since we are completely self-sufficient, we didn't use the kitchen / the toilet.
We will definitely be back again.
The first impression was fantastic. A very beautiful place. Really quiet. You can watch the sunset under the chestnut tree. A wonderful view of the valley. Friendly hosts. It was truly relaxing. Thank you.
Our first Nomady experience was at Laura's and it was really lovely. The spot is quiet and secluded, and the entrance was clearly visible even in the dark thanks to the small solar lights. The view is truly great! The cat is cute, cheeky, and curious :) We had great weather upon arrival and in general, but we left a bit earlier than planned when Peter decided it was time for rain 😅 The kitchen and toilet are easy to find, about a 3-minute walk from the site. A small suggestion for improvement would be to replace the small kettle and the coffee pod machine. We took our trash with us, which was no problem at all :) Overall, a really wonderful experience – would love to come back!
