The camping area is surrounded by mountains and nature, giving you a peaceful base to explore one of the island’s most beautiful regions. The camping area is not shared with other guests; it is spacious and offers plenty of room to enjoy your own private camping spot. You’ll be staying in a natural, quiet environment rather than a busy commercial campsite. It is generally very peaceful and quiet, with the sounds of nature, birds and the nearby mountain environment. You may occasionally hear sounds from the surrounding area, but there is no busy road or urban environment directly next to the camping area. Pitch your own tent on our grassy camping area and wake up to fresh mountain air and beautiful views. Nearby, you can explore hiking trails, levadas, waterfalls, forests, and the dramatic landscapes of Madeira. The camping area has a solar shower, dry toilet, small kitchen with cooking facilities, fridge, drinking water, electricity, BBQ area, and outdoor seating. Parking is also available. This is a simple and authentic mountain camping experience, ideal for hikers, nature lovers, and travellers who want to slow down, spend time outdoors, and experience a quieter side of Madeira.
