Camping in Hesse

Rhöner Auersberg

Germany-97772 Wildflecken
Please note: The pitch does not have a public toilet! You will enjoy the tranquility of our farm. We are motorhome owners ourselves and always ready to offer excursion tips. We provide electricity, fresh water, and the possibility to empty your chemical toilet. The camp is located about 2 kilometers from the village of Wildflecken, offering a magnificent view of the Sinn valley and the 930 m high Kreuzberg. You won't find more peace anywhere else. The camp is only 7 km from the highway, making it a perfect place to take a break. Nevertheless, we are far enough away that you won't hear the highway. In Wildflecken itself, you'll find a pizzeria, a REWE supermarket, etc. Cycling and hiking in the Rhön will be unforgettable for you, as our camp is directly connected to an excellent network of cycling and hiking trails. You can also rent two 20-inch e-bikes from us. You will certainly also drink one of Germany's best beers at Kreuzberg. The Rhön is known as the "Land of Open Vistas," and it truly is, unlike any other low mountain range in Germany. Speaking of open fires, you can now also barbecue with us!

Very nicely located pitch in the Rhön. The view is amazing and everything you need is there. Thanks.
A truly beautiful pitch in a fantastic location 5/5
Helmut gave us a warm welcome. We really enjoyed the view and the chirping of the crickets. We would gladly come back.
Lots of nature and great hosts!! Added to my favorites.
Unfortunately, we can only give 3 out of 5 stars because there were already 4 vehicles (3 motorhomes and 1 car) on site when we arrived (officially only 3 pitches). The actual pitch area was therefore fully occupied, so we had to make do with the forecourt. We didn't see the owner upon arrival or departure, so we didn't know where to get water. The site is listed on other platforms as well, which is why we assume the host lost track of the number of vehicles. According to the description, there are no toilets available, so we wondered how using the site with a regular car is supposed to work... The site itself is in a nice location. Fine for a stopover. However, anyone looking for the Nomady vibe with exclusive spots and exciting encounters will probably not get their money's worth here.
