Set on around 1 hectare of land in a small hamlet, our farm offers a variety of pitches: either in the orchard, on the meadow behind the farm, or on the riding arena with its firm sand surface (or between the buildings: ideal for travelers in transit, close to the highway, which can be heard more or less depending on the wind direction). Rural setting with mountain views and close to the lake (5 minutes by bike). An ideal starting point for mountain excursions, hikes, bike tours, beach holidays, walks, and sightseeing.

We are surrounded by lush meadows with great walking trails nearby, and the lake is just a 20-minute stroll away. We have a female dog and many other animals, including cats, chickens, and sheep. Your dog should be comfortable around them; otherwise, they must be kept on a lead.

The toilet and shower are located in our main house about 150 meters away, with access from the back; these are occasionally shared with the residents. There is also a tap on the bathtub here. In the barn, you will find a dry, shaded seating area and a fridge with drinks. Parasols and sun loungers are provided.

Access is via a short, steep driveway, which should not be a problem for vehicles with normal ground clearance.

Explore charming Kempten, the renowned Oberstdorf, the picturesque Kleinwalsertal, or the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle, all easily accessible from your doorstep.

When there is snow in the valley, the cross-country ski trail at the airfield is just 300m from the house. The nearest ski lifts are located in Eschach, Nesselwang, and Immenstadt. Oberstdorf is approximately 35 km away, offering several mountain cable cars. Hiking (2 examples): - A trip to the Breitachklamm gorge is a fantastic experience even in winter. - Take the cable car in Bolsterlang to reach a groomed winter hiking trail leading to the Schwabenhaus.

"Doro and Lutz are wonderful hosts and we felt truly welcome! We had booked two nights in a tent. The campsite is lovely, has a great view, and you can enjoy the sunset. There were plenty of animals on the farm, which is especially great for children. A shower, toilet, and a small camp kitchen with chilled drinks were available. We were even allowed to borrow two bicycles. There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area with kids. A 20-minute walk takes you to the lake, where you can swim or rent a paddle boat. Some other reviews mention a nearby highway. We heard it, but didn't find it bothersome at all, so we had no problem with it. You could write much more, but it's better to experience it for yourself. In any case, we would gladly come back!"

Nice pitch and lovely hosts. Note: Keep in mind that the nearby highway is quite loud and that you have to share the sanitary facilities with the hosts. Unfortunately, this information was missing beforehand, otherwise everything was great.

We had a wonderful stay. Doro and Lutz were very nice and helpful, giving us great tips for excursions. The children felt comfortable with the animals right from the start and really enjoyed them. The lake was within easy walking distance, and we were also able to rent bicycles. Overall, it was a beautiful spot for camping—we would love to come back! 😊

Very, very nice hosts (5 stars). The site was unfortunately a bit difficult to access for our vehicles (6.9m motorhome and vehicles including caravan), but this is clear from the description. The highway was audible. The nearby swimming lake is really beautiful.
