What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

Located along the B211, set against the magnificent backdrop of Rohrau Castle and nestled within the stunning natural landscape of the Leitha floodplains, we have reserved several pitches for you on our paved gravel parking area in the castle moat, sheltered by shade-giving trees. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, you can visit the castle and its impressive art collection. In the village, you can discover the birthplace of the composer brothers Joseph and Michael Haydn, as well as various stops along the 'Rohrau Path'. A stroll through the Leitha wetlands offers sightings of herons, beavers, and wild boar—and perhaps you’ll even spot the mysterious crocodile of Count Ernst Harrach of Rohrau. By bicycle, you can follow the trails of the Avars, Romans, and Kurucs through the agricultural landscape of the Pannonian Plain.

Everything was great! People sensitive to noise might be bothered by the adjacent street, but we had no problem with it.

We paid in advance, found zero info. Pitches right by the road. We left again. The count whose number we received was surprised by the booking. He said we were the first.

Es gab ein Missverstädnis in der Kommunikation zwischen Gast und Gastgeber. Da es sich um einen neues Camp handelt, waren die Prozess noch nicht optimal eingespielt. Die genaue Koordinaten sind auf der Karte eingezeichnet und Schilder vor Ort aufgestellt.
