Peaceful overnight stays at Unsleben Castle Estate. The camp is nestled close to the castle and nature, offering a truly romantic and private escape. It's also ideal for well-behaved dogs (other dogs occasionally stay in our holiday apartments), cycling enthusiasts, and children. Please note, this site is exclusively for self-sufficient campers with their own toilet facilities. Discover the nearby Rhön region, a hiker's paradise, or explore the rich culture of the area (Würzburg, Ostheim, Meiningen, etc.). The castle is situated on the outskirts of Unsleben, a charming village of 900 inhabitants, just an hour's drive from both Würzburg and Fulda. Within a few minutes' walk, you'll find a village shop, butcher, and more.

In the castle courtyard, you'll find a charming covered area (complete with lighting and an electrical outlet), perfect for enjoying your picnic, rain or shine, all while soaking in the magnificent castle views. Depending on the occupancy of our holiday apartments, it might even be possible to occasionally use a kitchen or bathroom by prior arrangement – please inquire about this on a case-by-case basis.

The pitch is located in the castle courtyard of Unsleben moated castle. Within walking distance, you'll find the charming village of Unsleben, offering a village shop, butcher, pharmacy, playground, and post office for all your daily needs. Explore the breathtaking Rhön region with its fantastic excursion possibilities easily by bus (the bus stop is just about 300 meters from the pitch).

Very nice welcome and great location. If you seek a conversation with the lord of the castle, you'll learn a lot about its history. Very, very exciting. The pitch is simple but wonderfully quiet. Thanks for the wonderful New Year's Eve.

Wonderfully quiet location with an idyllic setting! Level gravel pitch under shady linden trees. Village shop a 4-minute walk away. Very friendly castle owners. Beautiful surroundings for walks and also for biking (which we didn't do, though).
