Spycher-Häuschen auf dem Lebenshof

The Spycher-Häuschen (little granary house) is nestled on a small organic mountain farm, peacefully situated and surrounded by forests, meadows, and pastures. Donkeys, goats, cows, chickens, ducks, and cats share our farm life with us. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Sarnen and the majestic mountains. Far from the hustle and bustle of traffic, you'll be enveloped by the tranquility of nature – with the sounds of tawny owls, bats, deer, and foxes filling the night. The Spycher-Häuschen has two floors. On the lower floor, you'll find a cozy living area with a kitchen (dishes, pots, and an espresso maker are provided). The attic offers sleeping arrangements for two people. If you're more than two, the sofa in the living area can be converted into an additional bed. (For children: additional mattresses can be provided in the attic upon request). The ground floor of the Spycher is used by the host family as cellar rooms. Your newly renovated guest toilet and shower are located in the farmhouse right next door. (Please note the shower room height: 196cm). During cooler temperatures, the Spycher can be warmed with a charming Swedish stove. The Spycher is insulated according to its age, so it cools down quickly when outside temperatures drop. However, the Swedish stove quickly brings back the warmth. Do you enjoy making a fire and savoring the 'heimelig' (cozy) and comforting feeling of stove warmth? Then the Spycher is the perfect place for you. An outdoor seating area is available for shared use. If you'd like to build a simple nomadic fire, we'll gladly help you find a beautiful spot in nature. The access road to the farm is a very steep concrete path. With a bit of courage and a 'normal' vehicle, it's easily passable in summer up to the Spycher at your own risk. This allows you to unload your luggage at the camp. However, our farmyard is unfortunately too small for you to leave your vehicle there. Therefore, the Nomady parking lot is a 3-minute walk from the Spycher.
