What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
If you would like to stay overnight in your car, you are welcome to book a pitch with us (Camping Schmitten in Zell am See areitXpress). Our parking area is located in Zell am See-Schüttdorf, right at the valley station of the areitXpress cable car, which takes you up to the Schmittenhöhe. The 10 pitches are located in Parking Lot 1 and are clearly signposted. Bus stops and the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn train station are in the immediate vicinity. Please note: Sleeping in your car is not permitted with this specific booking.

You can cancel up to 3 days before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. You get what you book. We were there in January, so the lot is full of cars and ski buses during the day. The road can also be heard in the evening/at night, but it's not excessively loud. However, for the price, including electricity and the location, it's unbeatable! A little tip: the power outlets are on the right side of the box. We didn't find them at first because the buses were parked there.
