Urlaub im Schäferwagen zwischen alten Apfelbäumen

Germany-99510 Apolda
In addition to our campsite offer (see our other listing), we offer a unique stay in our simple but lovingly converted shepherd's hut. It is nestled in the heart of our 3,500 m² traditional orchard, offering views of the St. Bonifatius Catholic Church and the adjacent rectory garden. Guests have access to cold water and a toilet in our main house on the property. Inside the hut, you'll find a small water tank, dishes, blankets, books, games, and a camping toilet for 'emergencies.' Our accommodation is centrally located yet offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The town center, bakeries, shops, and two scenic promenades are all within easy walking distance. We live and work on-site; art lovers are more than welcome to visit our own studio or the Kunsthaus Apolda. Furthermore, the Weimarer Land region offers an abundance of nature, culture, and artistic experiences. You can find more detailed information in our second listing. We look forward to welcoming you!

Apolda and the Weimarer Land region offer a wealth of exploration opportunities. The Napoleon Cycle Route and the Luther Pilgrimage Trail both pass through Apolda and are just an 8-10 minute walk from our accommodation. The Ilmtal Cycle Path runs through the nearby districts of Niederrossla and Oberrossla, and you'll find a variety of well-marked hiking trails in and around the town. For those seeking culture, the Bell Museum, the Eiermannbau, and the Kunsthaus art gallery are must-sees. The historic cities of Weimar and Jena are also just 14 km away. If you're looking to cool off, there are outdoor pools in Apolda, Oßmannstedt, and Bad Sulza, while the famous Toskana Therme spa in Bad Sulza is only 12 km away. Adventure seekers will also find indoor and outdoor climbing facilities in nearby Jena and Weimar.
