Villa Sonnglück offers 1-2 parking spaces in a magnificent panoramic location, complete with a large natural swimming pond. You can reach us in just 30 minutes from the A3 motorway junction via the J 18 motorway. The parking space is also ideal as a stopover for those traveling from the north further south, or vice versa. Zullwil is nestled in the heart of a splendid hiking region in the Swiss Jura, within the Gilgenberg Valley. The parking space next to the B&B offers views of Gilgenberg Castle vis-à-vis and delightful swimming in our beautiful natural swimming pond. There's an outdoor sink with running hot water and a warm outdoor shower, various seating areas, and a fire pit. Electricity can be purchased for 5 CHF, and electric vehicles can be charged at the charging station for 0.50 per kWh. The guest toilet in the entrance area of Villa Sonnglück can also be used at night. Villa Sonnglück also offers three beautiful, modern guest rooms, each with its own en-suite shower room. Children can explore the microfauna and small aquatic creatures in our swimming pond. I am happy to provide a large, transparent basin that children can set up with stones and plants to observe the water life they catch with small nets. This is a favorite activity for children of all ages! For the swimming pond, we offer a wide variety of water toys: armbands, life jackets, rings, kickboards, various nets, diving toys, pool noodles, beach balls, and more. For rainy days, we also have a selection of children's books and other toys available to borrow.

You are more than welcome to enjoy our magnificent natural swimming pond after a thorough rinse at the warm outdoor shower—this helps keep the alkaline water free from sunscreen and oils. On rainy days, the glass house on the terrace serves as a cozy lounge area. For your convenience, there is a guest toilet in the entrance area of Villa Sonnglück, which is particularly practical at night or for families with children, saving you a trip down to the garden where you will find another guest toilet, the warm outdoor shower, and a sink for washing dishes. For our younger guests, we provide plenty of water toys as well as a wide selection of other toys and children's books.

Before taking a dip in our natural swimming pond, please shower thoroughly, ideally with soap, to ensure no sunscreen enters the pristine, alkaline water.

For all your daily needs, the nearest supermarket, bakeries, bank, post office, doctor's and vet's offices, physiotherapy, hairdresser, restaurants, and a delightful flower and craft shop are located in the neighboring village of Nunningen, approximately 2 km away. For a wider selection of larger supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, clothing stores, pharmacies, and even a natural swimming pool, you can venture a bit further to Breitenbach, Laufen, or Liestal, about 7 km away.

The Gilgenberg Valley area, with its Nunninger and Melting Bergmatte, is wonderfully suited for extensive hikes through the tranquil, beautiful Jura landscape. If you ascend the Hirnichopf or the Emmeneck near Stierberg, you'll be rewarded with a magnificent view of the Swiss Alpine chain. There are also several fortified climbing rocks in the area, established by the Swiss Alpine Club, such as on the Gempenfels. Or, about 1 km after Grellingen, there's a turn-off from the forest road that's popular with climbers.

Svanette is a passionate host. There is everything your HEART could desire here! The highlight for me: the WARM outdoor shower in the morning sunlight, and then enjoying a delicious latte macchiato by the pond while gazing out into the landscape....Don't miss it!!!

Unfortunately, not a good Nomady spot for us. The parking space is halfway on the residential street. Cars keep driving by. There is no possibility to set up a table and chairs. Svanette is very nice and the house with the natural pool is beautiful.
