Our motorhome site is situated directly on the banks of the Danube, offering a stunning view of the Aggstein castle ruins—widely considered one of the most beautiful spots in the Wachau region. Right on-site, you will find the newly built 'Restaurant Genussterrasse' with its beautiful riverside terrace. The lower level of the restaurant houses state-of-the-art shower and toilet facilities. The paved towpath along the Danube is perfect for relaxing strolls. Other highlights include the sunbathing lawn right at the site, a natural swimming area with a magnificent sandy beach, a children's playground featuring a new zip line, and a floodlit beach volleyball court. Accessible showers/WCs, as well as washing machines and dryers, are all barrier-free and easy to reach. We also offer unique cultural experiences. Our municipality is home to one of humanity's oldest archaeological finds: the Venus of Willendorf was discovered here. The 'Venusium' museum looks forward to your visit (open on weekends).
