The grounds are a paradise for dogs, boasting vast meadows and wonderful hiking trails leading to the Göttingen City Forest and the Hengstberg.

Waldpark Camp offers children a wealth of hands-on nature experiences right on-site. They can learn how to work with wood, identify different tree species, and discover mushrooms using our guidebooks. For quality time outdoors, a variety of games and board games are also available for everyone to enjoy. Cooking with a Dutch oven over open embers, gathering firewood, and mindfully experiencing the rhythm of the day with all five senses make every stay truly special. Guests also have the chance to spot local wildlife and practice mindful observation of the natural world. A highlight for many children is the birdlife surrounding the camp: the Red Kite is the largest bird that can be spotted soaring above.

Hello. Getting there by public transport is very stressful, also because there is currently a detour and only one bus (150) runs near the forest park. I wanted to do some solo camping and be completely undisturbed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. After I expressed what I wanted, the two of them accommodated it without any problem. I thought that was great! :-). I was able to spend some wonderful hours in the forest park, and the overnight stay was just as I had imagined. Campers shouldn't be afraid in the forest at night, as animals are out and about. So it's not totally quiet, but nothing can happen, you are safe. All in all, the solo camping was a complete success for me. Everyone should definitely try the hammock!!! :-) I've decided to come back next spring/summer and am already looking forward to it.

Everything was perfectly organized by the hosts, beautiful quiet location, would definitely come again. The shelter was super comfortable with a fantastic view ☺️

We received a very warm welcome. Lukas showed us around and explained everything. It was a former youth camp. We were able to use the commercial kitchen, had cutlery and dishes available to us, and access to a shared fridge. The stay was awesome; in addition to the shelter, we had a mosquito net that went all the way around the mattresses. Right next to it, there was a seating area with our own fire pit. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay 😊

The welcome was magnificent. We arrived tired after a long bike tour and were warmly welcomed by Cornelius. Candles were burning around our shelter, and a campfire was already lit by the adjacent seating area. We hadn't expected such a wonderful atmosphere. Next door, we had a superbly equipped outdoor kitchen at our disposal. The sanitary facilities are easily accessible, and the path is atmospherically lit in the evening. In the morning, we were woken up by the sun shining through the beech leaves. Pure nature and sooooo romantic.
