What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

Our campsite is located in the heart of Parc Ela, Switzerland's largest nature park, just past Savognin on the banks of the Julia river. It offers a peaceful setting yet remains easily accessible via the cantonal road towards St. Moritz. The ground is leveled and paved with gravel, and the nearest bus stop is just 100 meters away. Our site features 30 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, as well as 15 tent sites. While you share the grounds with other guests, each spot provides ample space to ensure your privacy and relaxation. Facilities include 2 showers, 2 toilets, a dishwashing sink, a washing machine and dryer, electricity hookups, and a disposal station for greywater and chemical toilets. Waste disposal is also included. Right next to the site, we run the 'dalla Punt' restaurant in a former sawmill building, seating 60 guests—perfect for a delicious dinner without the travel. For those looking for a longer stay, we also offer holiday apartments in House La Punt and mobile chalets in the Rona Chalet Park. The children's playground is just a few minutes' walk away. Our pitch itself is flat and level, offering children plenty of space to move around freely. Right next door, there is also a grassy hill that is perfect for playing and running around.

Winter access

Our property is located on the Julierstrasse, one of the few Alpine routes in Graubünden that remains open year-round and is well-maintained during the winter. However, during heavy snowfall, snow chains may occasionally be mandatory, especially on the higher sections of the Julier Pass towards St. Moritz. We recommend using winter tires and carrying snow chains in your vehicle, depending on the weather conditions. Please check the current road conditions before your arrival.

The dalla Punt restaurant, located in a former sawmill right on our site, offers 60 seats for breakfast, lunch, or dinner—no travel required. A farm shop with fresh dairy products and meat directly from the farm is just a 5-minute walk away. Further shopping facilities can be found in Savognin.

Our site is situated on a vast, level meadow right on the banks of the Julia River, which flows peacefully past your pitch. All around you, breathtaking views open up to the mountains of Parc Ela, Switzerland's largest nature park. In winter, the cross-country ski trails are just a few minutes' walk away, while in summer, hiking and biking trails start right at your doorstep. The village life of Savognin, with its shops, restaurants, and swimming lake, is also within easy reach.

We have something for everyone. The cross-country ski trail (10 km, flat) starts right at our doorstep, and the children's playground is just a 5-minute walk away. Savognin, with its Lai Barnagn swimming lake, mini-golf, and beach volleyball courts, is only a few minutes' drive. In summer, the Parc Ela invites you to explore through hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, and wildlife watching, while in winter, the Savognin ski area is just 10 minutes away by postal bus. For a special excursion, don't miss the 'Treasure Island' Alp Flix (approx. 1-hour hike) or the villages of Riom and Mulegns, where the Origen Festival Cultural at Riom Castle and the world's tallest 3D-printed tower, Tor Alva, await you.

The cross-country ski trail starts right at our site and leads across the flat Rona plain. The sports bus stops directly at the campsite, taking you to Savognin in about 5 minutes, Bivio in 15 minutes, and St. Moritz in 35 minutes—perfect for exploring multiple ski areas. Savognin is known for its wide, family-friendly slopes and the Tigignas mountain restaurant at the middle station, while Bivio offers challenging ski tours around Piz Turba and Cavreccia. There is plenty to enjoy off the slopes too: the Spegnas alpine meadows offer hikers stunning views of the winter landscape and the chance to spot local wildlife.
