"On our meadow behind the barn, we offer a pitch for cozy, peaceful nights surrounded by woods and fields. The pitch is located on a grass-covered lane measuring 24 m long and 3.2 m wide. The ground was originally graveled, making it firm and stable, though not completely level. On one side, there is a neighboring meadow (not for guest use) where cows or sheep often graze, their gentle cowbells lulling you to sleep in true alpine fashion. On the other side is a meadow of about 20x24 m. The grass is usually tall, but if you're lucky, it might just be freshly mown. If you'd like it mowed for your stay, we can do that for CHF 50–100 (depending on the area requested). Please be sure to ask well in advance! The access road is a gravel track at the end of the hamlet of Moorwilen that leads into the forest, so there is very little traffic. From this spot, you can admire the most wonderful sunsets over the plateau with its rolling meadows and fields. Since the hamlet consists of only three residential properties and the pitch is tucked away behind a shed at the very end of the lane, you will enjoy plenty of privacy. However, being in the heart of the countryside, a tractor might well pass by to say 'good morning' early in the day. Moorwilen is also home to a dog and horse boarding kennel; both owners are very considerate and always keep their dogs on a leash. In the forest above the pitch, about a 10-minute bike ride away, you'll find the Naturarena sensory trail (in the Seebachtal valley). The forest itself, with its countless crisscrossing paths, is wonderful for walking. Just a heads-up: it's easy to get lost, so don't forget your phone! We speak from experience. ;) Cycling Route 923, Stage 2, also passes right by us. There isn't much else in our hamlet, but within a 10-minute drive, you'll find several barbecue spots, playgrounds, farm shops, stores, and Lake Untersee with its lovely, charming swimming spots just waiting to be discovered."
