Berghütte Misterella, strahlungsarm

Italy-22010 Livo am Comer See
- Accessible only on foot: 450 meters elevation gain (from 600 m to 1054 m) in approx. 2 hours. Dreamlike! The hut is located above the confluence of the rivers from Valle di Ledú and Valle di Darengo. You can gaze at this view from your bedroom window, and be right in the middle of it within minutes. The mountain hut has been furnished to meet the owners' needs – so here you can experience authentic hut life. The hiking trail leads directly past the hut, making it an excellent starting point for hikes to other huts or various mountain lakes. The path to the hut has steep and narrow sections, but no exposed areas. Hiking boots are required. Everything you find here was either carried up on shoulders or flown in by helicopter (€40 per minute plus approach flight). 2 (+ 1 to 2) people * 1 living-sleeping-kitchen area * 2 wood sheds * dog-friendly * Amenities: Living-sleeping-kitchen with 2 single beds, gas stove and gas lamp, dishes, pots, pan, Italian Moka "coffee maker", dining table, fireplace and wood stove. 2 folding beds could be added – but it would be a tight squeeze. Water: next to the house at the "fountain" Cooling: under the house in the wood shed or with water Toilet: no. The forest. (Composting toilet in progress) Mobile reception: sometimes yes, sometimes no. If so, very weak. Quite good approx. 200 m from the hut. Dogs are welcome and free of charge!

Our cozy living-sleeping-kitchen area features 2 single beds, a gas stove, and a gas lamp. While two folding beds can be added, please note it will be a bit snug. Water: Available right next to the house at the "well." Cooling: Keep your perishables fresh under the house in the wood storage area or using water. Toilet: There is no indoor toilet. Nature calls in the forest. (A composting toilet is currently being installed!) Mobile Reception: It's a bit hit or miss – sometimes yes, sometimes no, and often quite weak. For better reception, walk about 200m from the cabin. Just a friendly reminder: there is no toilet inside the cabin. You're welcome to gather your own firewood! Deadwood can be collected from the forest. A saw and an axe are provided for your convenience. Please, no chainsaws allowed.

Anja was super friendly and so much easygoing. Thanks for that! The place itself was awesome. There's more than needed and enough space for four. A good place to relax and calm down. The walk to "villa misterella" was easy to handle, even with two younger kids (5 and 7 years old). My personal highlight were the five mules that seem to live there and gave us a warm welcome. All in all more than i could wish for my birthday. :-)
The two rivers coming together and the tranquility are wonderful
The place was wonderful and Anja went out of her way to make sure we arrived safely despite the rain - thank you so much!
Our stay at the Misterella mountain hut was pure gold. We were looking for a place to escape the chaos of civilization, and that is exactly what we found here. The cabin has everything you need to focus on the essentials. The raw nature surrounding it is powerful – from swimming in the cold river to the complete silence in the evening in front of the crackling fireplace. No distractions, just being. A fantastic place for absolute relaxation. 5 stars for this honest, wonderful experience!
We stayed at Villa Misterella over New Year's Eve to spend a completely firework-free holiday with our dog – and it was simply perfect. Absolute peace, no loud bangs, just pure silence and beautiful nature with great hiking trails right on the doorstep. The cabin is very well-equipped; we really didn't miss a thing. Exactly the right place to switch off and start the new year relaxed. We would love to come back!
Anja prepared the information regarding the accommodation, arrival & many extra touches wonderfully. Very friendly, straightforward & prompt communication. Would gladly stay again...
