Bivouac au moulin

Switzerland-1691 Villarimboud
Three pitches for your tent in a clearing bordered by a river. An idyllic and peaceful spot. You have the option to make a campfire for your evening barbecue or purchase homemade artisan pizzas on-site. Showers, toilets, and hot water are located at the entrance of the clearing. The available pitches are situated on the same grounds as the Bivouac dans les Arbres. The "Pied Total" activity can be enjoyed daily from mid-May to mid-September.

Very friendly service. Straightforward and a charming campsite. There is also food available on-site and the organization is great, I can highly recommend it.
Peaceful and pleasant place. Offering pizzas and drinks on site is a nice plus. The restrooms could perhaps just use a little renovation.
An absolutely fantastic, lovingly and very naturally landscaped campsite – perfect for people who genuinely enjoy sleeping in a tent to be in nature, rather than staring at the walls of motorhomes to their left and right. Here you look out at trees, and the pitches are surrounded by waist-high grass. There are even fire pits right at the pitch. The bathrooms are simple, but clean and spacious (though they can be quite a walk depending on the pitch). There is a coffee machine, fridges with drinks, and pizza that you can bake yourself in a pizza oven, all accessible 24/7. You can even get firewood for a small fee. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The only real downside is the road passing above the site, but it gets quiet in the evening as well. Definitely one of the most beautiful campsites in Switzerland, well worth a little detour!
We liked the spacious grounds with the many trees and the river, and also that we had a large circular pitch all to ourselves for camping. At night, we heard crickets and saw lots of stars, read in the shade of the weeping willow during the day, and spotted a marten. It's not that quiet near the tent pitches, as the road is clearly audible. What really bothered us were the sanitary facilities; for such a huge site, there are exactly two showers and toilets, at a distance of several hundred meters.
A wonderful place with great people. Thank you
Beautiful, park-like grounds! We really enjoyed our stay surrounded by flowers, trees, and the sound of the babbling brook. Baptiste is an extremely friendly and attentive host who was immediately available whenever we had questions.
