Camp La Casina is nestled in the heart of the Tuscan hills, just steps away from the birthplace of Michelangelo Buonarroti. Surrounded by lush greenery, this is the perfect spot to unwind and explore the area on foot or by bicycle. The campsite is set on a spacious meadow near the farmhouse; with only four pitches, every group can enjoy complete privacy. The surrounding area is steeped in history and unspoiled nature. Michelangelo's birthplace is located in the nearby village of Caprese Michelangelo, just a few kilometers away and easily reachable by bike. You can also visit the Sanctuary of La Verna, situated close to the camp. Numerous hiking trails in the nearby forests offer unique and relaxing adventures. In summer, you can take a dip in the campsite's swimming pool when available (end of the day is fine) or cool off in the nearby river.

The stay was really very pleasant. Mario and Elisabetta are truly very accommodating hosts. We were warmly welcomed and were offered a little tour as well as coffee. We could have used the pool too, but unfortunately the weather during our stay was very bad. The dogs were very sweet and we were even given tomatoes as a gift - all in all, really highly recommended.
Very beautifully located, nice hosts. The only downside was the super bright light directed at the site during the night. Something a bit more subtle would be desirable. Otherwise, everything was great 👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice area, facilities available.
Communication with Elisabetta was easy.
Very nice, quiet pitch surrounded by greenery, clean toilet/shower, very friendly welcome by Mario, who also gave us several tips for excursions. We really liked La Verna, thank you very much Mario! We would gladly come back again.
