Just a one-minute walk from the beautiful High Rhine, we offer one to two pitches on grass and/or asphalt for camping enthusiasts. Located in a quiet spot on the edge of town in a cul-de-sac/play street, you can relax wonderfully in the cozy seating area, in a deck chair, or right on the banks of the Rhine. Down by the river, you can go swimming or walk upstream in your swimwear and let the current drift you back down. Families are very welcome. Several leisure activities await you in the garden, such as a trampoline, football, swings, and a sandbox. There is also a public playground right across the street. There is plenty to do from here: ⁕ Our village is unique: Büsingen is a German exclave within the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen, beautifully situated on the High Rhine. You can hike the 'Exklavenweg' trail or cycle along the river. A visit to the 'Rhybadi' (lido) is also highly recommended for its culinary offerings. ⁕ The ferry dock is just 5 minutes away. The small ferry can take you to the other side of the Rhine to the 'Klostergut Paradies'. From there, you can enjoy beautiful paths, partly through nature reserves and directly along the river. ⁕ The Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen can be reached in about 20 minutes by bike or just under an hour on foot. It’s 10 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bus. ⁕ The boat from the local pier takes you downstream to Schaffhausen or upstream via Stein am Rhein all the way to Constance. It’s a magnificent trip through stunning nature, and every stop has something to offer. A must-do! :-) ⁕ The bus stop is only one minute away, providing excellent public transport connections in all directions. Hallo, ich bin 54 Jahre alt und glücklich verheiratet. Wir haben 2 Söhne, 13 und 15 Jahre alt. Am liebsten verreisen wir mit unserem Campingbus in die Berge oder in den Norden (deutsche Nordsee, Holland, England). Dabei mögen wir einen ruhigen Platz auf Wiese. Im Winter fahren wir auch mit dem Bus in die Berge zum Rodeln (ich) und Schifahren (meine Männer). In meiner Freizeit liebe ich es, kreativ zu sein. Ich mache gerne Handarbeiten, bastle und lese gerne. Meine Leidenschaft ist das meditative Bogenschießen und Yoga. Außerdem gehe ich gerne walken (am liebsten im Wald) und wandern.

We have a very large lawn where dogs are free to roam. However, please note that the area is not fenced and we have a resident cat that wanders freely. We therefore ask dog owners to decide for themselves whether it is necessary to keep their dog on a leash. For your furry friends, we provide waste bags and a bin. A rope toy for playtime and a little treat are also included! :-)

Notes

The entrance begins with a downhill slope, which makes access difficult for motorhomes over 7m (as you need to enter at an angle). Due to the narrow wheelbase, we can only accommodate vehicles up to 7m in length.

Please note that the grass may not be accessible for vehicles after periods of heavy or prolonged rain.

The pitch in the cozy garden with swings, loungers, a trampoline, and several seating areas is a lovely place to linger. Next door in the "fancy shed", you can sit comfortably, and a well-stocked fridge leaves nothing to be desired. The shower and toilet are right next door, everything is lovingly decorated, and there are even treats for dogs if needed. The host is super helpful and easygoing. Would come back anytime.
