Entspannen am Steindlhof im Grünen

Germany-85560 Ebersberg
Our pitch is located on a meadow right on our farm. Most of our cattle are out on pasture in the summer, a few hundred meters away from the farm, so it's wonderfully peaceful here. On the farm, you'll also find a few cats, chickens, sheep, and two donkeys. On weekends, our farm shop is open, offering delicious Angus specialties and many other local products. This pitch is a fantastic starting point for countless excursions, whether you're heading to the Bavarian Alps (approx. 1 hour drive), Munich (approx. 45 min drive), or embarking on mountain bike tours and hikes in the Ebersberger Forst (starting right from the farm) – everything is possible!

It was simple and straightforward. We spent one night here on a stopover and were completely satisfied 🙂
Very friendly and uncomplicated hostess. Everything you need is there. We'd love to come back again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very nice and quiet place. Very friendly and accommodating family.
Anna and her family are super lovely. Anyone looking for a cozy, quiet, and relaxing retreat is in the absolute right place here. You couldn't imagine it any better. An absolute top recommendation.
The grass-covered, slightly sloping pitch is located right at the main entrance and exit to the Steindlhof, where the owner also operates his construction planning firm. Directly opposite the pitch, about 8 meters away, is the open barn for the numerous Angus cattle. Satellite TV reception is very difficult even with a portable dish because the protruding barn roof blocks reception to the south. The provided internet works well. The caravan has to be positioned between two trees. To the right, you can sit in the planted area with a view of the yard. To the left, you can park the car, although this would actually be the better spot to sit (except that parking your car there blocks it, or you have to constantly walk around the caravan and car, leaving little space for both) to enjoy nature with a view across the fields to the forest. Parking in the farm shop's spaces is not allowed, even though it is only open on Friday afternoon (4 hrs) and Saturday morning (4 hrs). Going for walks in nature is very easy since the property is at the edge of the village. We were able to use the construction company's toilet, but judging by Anna's reaction, she would have preferred it if we hadn't needed either the toilet or water. You have to bring your own toilet paper, and the toilet area was not cleaned once during our 4-day stay. The paper towel trash can was overflowing from the very first day until our departure. There is plenty to see and hear thanks to the busy traffic of agricultural and construction vehicles as well as farm shop sales in the yard. The Angus cattle kept us well entertained too, even for 2 ½ hours non-stop during the night from Good Friday to Holy Saturday. Having learned all about farm life, the construction company, and the Angus language, we decided to head back home on Easter Sunday after 4 of the 6 booked and paid-for days.
Very nice hosts, good starting point for activities in nature.
