This expansive meadow not only offers stunning panoramic views of the Peterberg, Dollberg, and the Hunnenring—a site of Celtic historical significance—but this very ridge was once home to Celtic princely tombs. The Celts shared a deep connection with nature and spirituality, an energy that can still be felt in this unique location. You can also watch horses and cows grazing nearby. Also nearby: the Nonnweiler reservoir (2 km) with a beautiful circular trail (approx. 12 km), the Braunshausen summer toboggan run with extra slides, a water treading pool, and a great playground (2 km), or the popular Bostalsee with access to Center Parcs and all its attractions (5 km). And much more (see tips). A newly opened cycle path (30 km long) with 17 rest areas and 7 play areas is within walking distance (200 m). For Hikers 🏔 You can quickly reach the start of various 'Dream Loops' (Traumschleifen) hiking trails, such as the Hubertusschleife or the Dollbergschleife. At Pentecost (Whitsun), a traditional football tournament takes place at the nearby sports field (Fri and Sat).

A large meadow with plenty of space to run around and play. A dog waste station is located nearby (at the 'Sternkuckerplatz').

A vast meadow perfect for running and playing, with no cars in sight. You'll find horses and cows in the surrounding pastures, plus chickens and bunnies to admire—and if I'm home, they love to be petted! Guests are also welcome to use the large trampoline (at your own risk) and the football goal.

Super camper pitch on the edge of town with a great open area. Several of us stayed here together and had a great weekend with the Hosen concert at Bostalsee. Electricity is available on site. This morning, however, the natural alarm clock (rooster) went off a bit too early for my personal taste 😉. All in all: Top top!

We had a wonderful stay at the campsite with a truly majestic panoramic view. Ramona is a super host; since we arrived late, she sent us a video on how to get to the site, even though the description in the app is very good. Ramona is very attentive, courteous, and helpful. We even received freshly picked plums from the neighbor. The chickens and the beautiful rooster woke us up very gently in the morning. We had the place all to ourselves. We were able to enjoy our meals and the sunsets on the bench and table provided. From the site, you can go on very nice hikes or bike tours to historical places. We had a really great time and can highly recommend this spot. Our dog felt so comfortable that he would have preferred to stay there, and we felt exactly the same on the day of departure. The camp is very easy to reach and despite the proximity to the highway, it didn't bother us. We would love to come back. Thanks for the lovely time.

A great place to simply relax or to use as a starting point for wonderful mountain bike tours. We felt very much at home there and it probably won't be our last time.
