Forellenhof bei Friedels Enkel

Germany-66636 Tholey
The pitch is located outside the village, on a connecting road between two villages within a fenced area. During the day, you can expect normal through traffic, but at night it's usually quiet. You'll then only hear the soothing gurgle of the water. The ground is gravel lawn or grass.

This place is highly recommended. We spent one night with our two dogs and were able to relax very well. The site is perfect for hot days as there is plenty of shade. Check-in worked great, and the communication with Jo was excellent. We will be back.
I already visited Jo Gast at his first spot last year. Jo and his son are lovely hosts, always up for a chat. Our weekend at the trout pond was very quiet and relaxing. There are plenty of large trees providing enough shade to handle the current high temperatures. Both our dog and I were able to cool off nicely in the pond. A road runs right past the site, which has hardly any traffic at night. It's a bit busier during the day, but that didn't really bother us. In return, you are truly alone there, and because the property is completely fenced in, our dog could move around completely off-leash. We will definitely be back.
A very beautiful, slightly enchanted-feeling pitch with a special charm. A bit livelier during the day, but pleasantly quiet at night. The owner is exceptionally nice and friendly – you feel welcome right away.
A wonderful place to relax undisturbed. There is no traffic in the evening, allowing you to truly enjoy the silence. The site offers the perfect balance between nature and a well-kept garden. Communication with Jo was very easy and friendly. You always have the choice of relaxing in the shade or in the sun. It's no problem for large motorhomes either; the gate is wide enough and the pitch is spacious. For us, it was particularly great that everything is fenced in, so the dogs could run around without us having to worry about them darting onto the road in their excitement. It isn't 100% escape-proof, but since you always keep an eye on the dogs anyway, that's only an issue for ambitious escape artists or inattentive owners ;-) Great spot, would love to come back!
