GassliHOF Camp

We received a very warm welcome in the beautiful Safiental. The pitch is in a fantastic location on a lush green meadow with magnificent mountain views. It is just a short walk to the toilets and showers at the nearby Gasslihof. The facilities are top-notch and also very clean. The Gasslihof itself is a lovely place to spend time. We treated ourselves to a three-course menu and were lucky enough to be served a venison entrecôte (hunted by the owner himself) as the main course. The meal was an absolute dream. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Simply wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Super beautiful view, quiet place to sleep, and very clean sanitary facilities. We'd happily come back again.

We stayed for two nights at Marco's, almost at the very end of the Safien Valley. The alpine scenery there is very impressive! Our pitch was on a fairly large and reasonably flat meadow. The valley's only road runs right past it, but there was very little traffic during the day and none at all at night. The inn, with toilet, shower, dishwashing facilities, and a drinking water fountain, was only about 100 meters away. Grey water disposal available on request. Next to the restaurant is a farm shop offering local specialties (mainly meat). We really enjoyed the view of the wild mountains of the Beverin Nature Park and would have loved to stay longer. We'd gladly return, perhaps in the winter for ski touring or snowshoeing.

What a peaceful place, with a dreamlike view and wonderful people everywhere. Nothing was missing and we would come back anytime. Thank you Marco for your warmth.
