Our self-sufficient alpine cabin (Maiensäss) is nestled in an exclusive, secluded location at approx. 1,360 m above sea level in the Beverin Nature Park (200 m off the Schamserberg road). This cozy, authentic chalet features a kitchen, a (living) room, and a bathroom (with shower/WC). The property consists solely of our cabin and the adjacent barn. There are no other inhabited cabins in the area, offering guests complete privacy in this idyllic setting. Fountain (with fresh water from our own spring). A barbecue area and outdoor seating are also available. Sports equipment can be stored in the barn. Includes solar power and electricity from our own water turbine for charging mobile devices and e-bikes.

We were able to spend wonderful and relaxing days in the Maiensäss. Peace, pure nature, a fantastically beautiful view of the mountains—a paradise for us! Everything is so lovingly furnished and well equipped. We felt at home right away. Margret is a wonderful host! We were warmly welcomed (despite arriving late) and super well "briefed" about the kitchen, hiking options, restaurant recommendations, etc. Dear Margret, thank you very much for your hospitality and for letting us enjoy our stay in your Maiensäss!

The accommodation is very nice and in a quiet location. Everything is clean and communication with Margret was always very easy and warm. The surrounding nature is gorgeous and you can visit some lovely spots. We warmly recommend the cabin and the friendly host.

Dear Margret, For the second time now, we had the pleasure of spending a few days in your beautifully converted mountain chalet. The first time was in summer with our camper van, and now surrounded by a snowy winter landscape. We spent cosy days walking and then warming up by the wood-burning stove. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you so much for your wonderful, uncomplicated hospitality and for sharing your little paradise with guests.
