Public fire pits are located along the Emme river (about a 10-minute walk) – otherwise, please bring your own grill. The spot is intended exclusively for parking and overnight stays; there is no additional infrastructure on-site. However, should a problem arise during your stay or if you find yourself missing something important, we aren't far away: our farmhouse is just a short walk up the hill. Please feel free to reach out if you have any concerns. We are happy to help whenever we can – especially, of course, in the event of something unexpected or an emergency.

This ParkOvernight spot is nestled in a charming rural settlement, surrounded by two working farms. On one side is our own lush grassland farm with suckler cows, and on the other is our neighbor’s dairy farm.

Biking and Hiking: Experience the region actively on two wheels – for example, on the Marbachegg or along the Hüguhimu route. Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy diverse tours such as the Eggiwil House and Bridge Trail, or more challenging ascents to Schibengütsch or the Alpgäulücke in Schangnau. As your hosts, we highly recommend the Hegeloch – one of Switzerland's first tunnels – and the Chuderhüsi observation tower, which offers breathtaking views of the Bernese Oberland. Swimming: The Emme River is just a few minutes' walk from our location, perfect for a refreshing dip. Excursions: Discover the famous Kambly Experience, where you can sample traditional biscuits and learn all about how they are made. Immerse yourself in the history and culture of the Emmental at the Chüechlihus Regional Museum in Langnau and get to know the region's authentic side. A special highlight is the Egli woodcarving workshop, where impressive artistry meets genuine craftsmanship. For fun and entertainment, head to Strike Bowling. For a moment of reflection, visit the Würzbrunnen Church, one of Switzerland's most beautiful historic churches, nestled in the idyllic Emmental landscape.
