Experience ultimate seclusion on the edge of the forest, surrounded by lush meadows with breathtaking views of the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, as well as Niesen and Stockhorn. Our cozy sleeping barrel comfortably accommodates two people, and all bed linen is included.
Outside, you'll find a charming setup on the meadow, complete with a table, benches, tree stumps for seating, and a smoker grill – perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings. The main farm, featuring a latrine and shower, is conveniently located just 200 meters away. Please note that you might encounter other guests at the farm, as we have four unique camps spread across our expansive property.
Your camp is easily accessible after a short, pleasant walk from the parking area.
For an unforgettable experience, we offer a guided walk with our 'Herb Witch' (by reservation only), where you'll discover edible wild herbs from our farm, complete with a small tasting session. This unique activity is available on Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, or other times by arrangement. The cost is 50 CHF per person.

We spent a wonderful night in the sleeping barrel by the Ilfisgraben. The barrel is located in a wonderfully quiet spot at the edge of the forest and offers a lot of privacy. We were particularly impressed by the view of the Bernese Alps – a real treat in both the evening and the morning. Anyone looking for relaxation, nature, and a unique overnight stay is in exactly the right place here. We would love to come back!
Dreamy location! Unique variety of animals on the farm! We really enjoyed our stay.
Went amazing. Nice host, very private place and well secluded from the farm / other campers. A nice grill and some chairs + table are right behind the hut so you can cook food / boil water.

Super nice and quiet location and surroundings, very well-maintained farm and friendly hosts.
We spent a great night in the barrel. We got lucky with the weather, so we were able to barbecue while enjoying the magnificent view. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
