My cabin is nestled in the garden with views overlooking the forest and meadows. You are even welcome to bring your horse, which can be accommodated in an open stable on the pasture (for an additional fee). It is a beautiful hiking area located between the Sauerland and the Ruhr region. Within about 10 minutes by car, you can reach the shopping center in Breckerfeld. Restaurants are 5 km away, and within about 20 minutes you can reach the Glörtalsperre (swimming allowed) and Haspertalsperre reservoirs, or the city centers of Hagen and Lüdenscheid. The Klutert Cave in Ennepetal and the Open-Air Museum in Hagen (a 1-hour walk) are also fantastic excursion destinations. The cabin is equipped with a waterless composting toilet, a cold outdoor shower, and a small water tank for washing. A gas stove, kitchen utensils, a small grill, and a fire pit (weather permitting!) are also available. This is a place to relax in nature, so I kindly ask you to keep noise to a respectful level. 🦊🐦‍⬛🦔

Linen can be booked for an additional €10 per person. You can wash dishes in a basin, or if I'm around, I can clean them in my dishwasher. A gas stove, pots, cooking utensils, and a kettle are provided. The toilet is a dry composting toilet. The shower has cold water, but it can warm up in the hose if it's summer temperatures.

From your cozy sleeping area, it's just a 5-minute walk to the Krägeloher Forest, where numerous hiking trails await. Within about 10 minutes by car, you can reach the shopping center in Breckerfeld. Restaurants are just 5 km away, and within approximately 20 minutes, you can easily get to the Glörtalsperre (where swimming is possible!) and the Haspertalsperre, or explore the city centers of Hagen and Lüdenscheid. The Kluterthöhle in Ennepetal and the Open-Air Museum in Hagen also make for fantastic day trips!

We felt very comfortable and welcome at Birgit's place. It was easy to make this little cabin our home away from home, and we really loved the many small, thoughtful details. Everything was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Birgit was very welcoming and, at the same time, gave us our space, allowing for a pleasant sense of coexistence. We highly recommend taking a break here. ☀️

We met a super friendly host who does everything to ensure a wonderful stay. The cabin is lovingly designed and located in a beautiful, quiet garden. We also thought it was great that we could book a delicious breakfast basket. We felt incredibly comfortable in the cabin. We can highly recommend it!
