Hof am Mittellandkanal Münsterland

Nestled idyllically right by the Mittelland Canal, our charming farm is surrounded by fields and other farms in the northern Münsterland / Tecklenburger Land region. From here, you can set off on hikes immediately, with trails right on your doorstep. Take a refreshing dip in the canal or embark on endless cycling tours. At night, you'll hear the hoot of an owl, and if you're lucky, deer might greet you outside your window in the morning. Climbing areas and the Teutoburg Forest, home to the start of the Hermannsweg trail and the Teutoschleifen network, are all close by. The Münsterland and Tecklenburger Land invite you to explore countless castles, palaces, and country estates. Osnabrück, Münster, and the beautiful town of Tecklenburg are just a short drive away. Thanks to a large bird sanctuary nearby, our garden is also a vibrant playground for all sorts of bird species. We have our own orchard and farm chickens. Depending on the season, you can purchase our farm-fresh products (honey from our own bees, eggs, fruit). Bakeries and village shops are conveniently located nearby. Upon request, we offer yoga classes and sound journeys with our in-house yoga instructor. For campers, a small toilet house with a dry composting toilet is available. A toilet for small vehicles can also be used upon request, for a donation, and subject to availability. We live in the heart of nature and share our home with several protected animals. Deer, among other creatures, also roam our property. Please be respectful towards these animals and keep a close eye on your dogs. We donate 1 Euro per overnight stay to NABU (Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union).
