Wein, Rhein & Drachenfels – Camping am Weinberg

Germany-53604 Bad Honnef
Nice to have you here! Welcome to our small, family-run motorhome pitch in Rhöndorf – nestled between the vineyards of the Siebengebirge and the Rhine. Here, you’ll wake up with a view of the vines, listen to the birds chirping, and enjoy the warm colors of one of the region's most beautiful sunsets in the evening. The paved pitch is located in a quiet spot by our family home in a small cul-de-sac with no through traffic – directly below the vineyards. A fire pit with seating invites you to end the day in a relaxed way – perhaps with a glass of wine in hand and a view of the surrounding nature. Electricity is available directly at the pitch. A special highlight awaits wine lovers right next door: at the Pieper Winery, you can visit the cozy wine shop, taste award-winning wines, and experience the passion of regional viticulture. Nature lovers will feel right at home here. Numerous hiking and cycling trails lead through the vineyards and the Siebengebirge. The Drachenfels, the Löwenburg, and many other viewpoints are easily accessible from here. In just a few minutes, you can reach the Rhine with its promenades and cycling paths. Bad Honnef and Königswinter, with their cafés, restaurants, and historic alleys, are also just a short walk away. Our pitch is a place for everyone seeking peace, wanting to enjoy nature, and wishing to experience the special lifestyle between the vineyards, the Rhine, and the Drachenfels. We look forward to welcoming you!

If you don't feel like cooking after a wonderful day of exploring, there are several local gems right nearby that we hold dear. We highly recommend our family-run 'Altes Fährhaus' in Königswinter, just a 15-minute walk away. There, Beate and Günther will welcome you with warm hospitality and treat you to regional specialties right on the banks of the Rhine. Only a 5-minute walk from your spot is the popular 'Casalinga,' where you can expect authentic Italian cuisine and a Mediterranean flair. For fresh morning rolls, regional products, or your daily groceries, the 'Vier Jahreszeiten' organic market is an easy 10-minute walk. In Rhöndorf, you'll also find a bakery and the famous 'Café Profittlich'—perfect for coffee and cake after a hike through the vineyards or the Siebengebirge hills.

Great pitch, contact with Linda was super 🤩 I can also highly recommend the Pieper wine shop right next door!
As described: A quiet, level parking space in a cul-de-sac with an amazing view of vineyards and the rugged Drachenfels, plus a small, private garden lounge! Shore power is available. From here, you can enjoy wonderful hikes along the vineyards or, of course, a steep climb up to the Drachenfels. A nice winery with a hotel and restaurant is just a few houses away, though it (currently) has very limited opening hours – unfortunately, we couldn't visit. The spot definitely has its price. You should know that the (paved) space is located directly at a single-family house between a driveway and the front door. This means you aren't really 'in nature' and are in close proximity to the hosts, who, however, were obviously not at home during our stay. During our visit, the garden lounge consisted of two garden chairs and a table; the lounge shown in the photos was not set up. Not far from the site are larger arterial roads, and traffic is moderately audible (zero problem for us, but there are more sensitive people). Nice, uncomplicated, and absolutely unobtrusive contact with the hosts. We enjoyed staying here for two nights and slept well. Due to the temperatures, however, we didn't (quite) make it up the Drachenfels...
Leuke plek naast een wijngaard op doorreis naar Zwitserland.
A wonderful, lovingly furnished place with a very uncomplicated and warm host team in a diverse environment where there is so much to do.
