Offenstall Schwellenbach

Germany-53804 Much
Welcome to our charming, peaceful horse farm, where we invite you to spend the night! Depending on your preference and the weather, you can choose a pitch directly on our paved farmyard or, for a more immersive nature experience, drive further out into the meadows. Our farm is nestled on the outskirts of the village, offering picturesque views of the Heckberg. We provide an idyllic barbecue area with stunning vistas, and for those rainy days, a covered seating area is available. From the farm, you can directly embark on wonderful hikes through the beautiful natural surroundings, with the Naafbachtal and its side valleys being a particular highlight. Discover numerous viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of the Siebengebirge and Eifel mountains. Within walking distance, you'll find a restaurant and a farm offering unique alpaca treks. Approximately 800 meters away, there's a new football pitch with fantastic views and snack vending machines. This area is also a paradise for E-bike tours or (for the more athletic!) mountain biking. Shopping facilities and additional restaurants are located about 4 km away. On our farm, you can observe a total of 17 horses, four cows, and sometimes calves, all living in species-appropriate group housing. Until approximately 9:30 PM, boarders may occasionally be on the farm, and we kindly ask for mutual consideration. A WC is available for your convenience. Please note that occasional moderate aircraft noise cannot be entirely ruled out; however, the planes are still quite high above us. Important: You may need to pass through a group of horses to reach your pitch. Please follow our instructions carefully. Therefore, this pitch may not be entirely suitable for those with a strong fear of horses. However, around your pitch, you will have plenty of space where neither horses nor cows can enter. :)

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The site was beautiful and the view was great, looking out at the cows or the horses—wonderful to wake up to. There is electricity available for use at the farm as well as a refrigerator; the toilet at the farm was also good. There is no electricity at the pitch on the meadow, and the path to the toilet led right through the horses 😉 We had everything we needed and were very satisfied with the site. We would love to come back.
A very beautiful and quiet spot. Ideal for just switching off. Horses for neighbors, and even the occasional deer made an appearance in the early morning hours. Friendly hostess.
We really enjoyed our stay at the horse farm. We were parked all by ourselves in a meadow next to cows and horses.
We are thrilled and want to say "Thank you very much". We had a wonderful weekend. For us, it was exactly what we were looking for. We were all alone on a huge meadow and had an amazing view. Kirstin is a super friendly host and the horses were great too. We will definitely come back again.
Lots of space and the possibility to stand quite secluded, with a great view over the valley. Kirstin was very friendly and helpful, but also gave us our space. Unfortunately, the meadow is quite steep. Even with the wooden planks provided and our leveling ramps, it was almost impossible to get the car level. The road in the valley and departing airplanes can be difficult for those sensitive to noise. Unfortunately, entry and exit are only possible if someone is on site, as you have to go "through the horses." Neutral info for allergy sufferers: the provided toilet is clean, but it's where the riding equipment is stored.
Wonderful view in all directions, a very friendly hostess, and just as friendly horses. Would gladly come back.!
Great spot with a fantastic view. Kristin was very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back :)
Highly recommended in all areas. There's nothing to shop for within walking distance, so you should bring everything with you. We stayed at the very back of the field. The terrain is quite sloped and totally quiet. Curious deer even come by sometimes.
