Idyllischer Stellplatz unter Bäumen

Germany-31860 Emmerthal
A getaway right in the heart of nature: that’s exactly what our meadow offers, where you can make yourself comfortable right next to a picturesque weeping willow. Our 8,000 sqm property on the edge of town provides plenty of space to soak up the beauty of the surroundings. From here, it’s just 1.5 km to the Weser River. Your pitch is located on a meadow. Depending on occupancy, there may be other campers staying on the property. However, thanks to the size of the grounds, there is more than enough distance and space for everyone. We live in a quiet area on the outskirts. During the day, vehicles pass by the property, including more agricultural machinery in the summer. At night, however, it is usually very peaceful. Since we love and enjoy using our garden, you’ll see us and our dogs from time to time. Nevertheless, you will still find plenty of peace and quiet here. If you have any questions, we are always available and happy to help find a solution for anything you might need.

Children's camp
Our property is fully fenced, offering plenty of space to explore and play. A nest swing hangs from a large chestnut tree and is available for our little guests to enjoy at any time. There is also a children's playhouse with a sandbox. As this is also used by our own children, we kindly ask that you check with us briefly before using it. Please note: There is an unfenced pond on the property. Children must be supervised accordingly, especially in this area.

A toilet and electricity are available upon request for €5 per night. Please note that the toilet is only accessible by prior arrangement. Well water is also available on-site; however, please be aware that this is not certified drinking water. Standard camping waste can be disposed of here using our recycling system (general waste, paper, and recycling bags). We are happy to provide a fire pit for your use. Firewood is available from us for a small fee if needed. The Weserbergland region beckons with the award-winning 'Weserbergland-Weg' trail and many other hiking highlights—such as the Ebersnacken Tower, offering panoramic views across the entire region. The Ith hills provide countless opportunities for hiking and climbing, and we’d be happy to share our favorite spots to cool off on warm days. Or perhaps you'd enjoy a canoe trip or other water sports on the Weser River? The Weser Cycle Path is just 1.5 km from our village, perfect for long rides along the river. However, there are also many beautiful trails away from the water to explore the countryside by bike. There is plenty of culture to discover too: in the neighboring village of Börry, you can immerse yourself in rural history at the Museum of Agricultural Technology and Farm Work. The 'Pied Piper' town of Hamelin is well worth a visit, as is Hämelschenburg Castle and numerous other sites showcasing the Weser Renaissance style. If you are traveling with children or just looking for a fun day out, the area offers everything from wildlife parks and adventure activities to swimming pools and the Ith-Sole-Therme spa. And if you’re not sure where to head first: just ask us! We know our home well and are happy to give you tips tailored to the weather, the season, and your interests.

The Weser Uplands have plenty to offer even in winter: the numerous hiking trails are wonderful to explore during the colder months, offering completely different vistas than in the summer. When the snow falls, the hilly landscape provides perfect spots for sledding—we’d be happy to share our favorite local hills with you. If you prefer to stay warm, you can enjoy a relaxing day at the Ith-Sole-Therme spa or take a wintry stroll through the charming streets of Hamelin. And sometimes, the best winter activity is the simplest: bundle up, take a walk through the countryside, and then warm up by the fire on our meadow.

The description is 100% accurate: you couldn't find a more idyllic spot to stay! 💚 Quiet and cozy, the weeping willow stands on the meadow. Franziska and her family are super warm hosts and anticipate your every wish! Unfortunately, we only stayed for one day, but we are continuing our journey happy and relaxed! Thank you for that! We will definitely be back!
We stayed for one night in Franziska's spacious garden and we really enjoyed it. The location is a great starting point for activities in the beautiful Weserbergland region. Thanks to the lovely hosts!
