The grounds are a true paradise for dogs, boasting expansive meadows and wonderful hiking trails leading to the Göttingen City Forest and the Hengstberg.

Waldpark Camp offers children a wealth of hands-on nature experiences right on-site. Here, they can learn how to work with wood, identify different tree species, and discover mushrooms using field guides. For quality time outdoors, a variety of games and board games are also available for everyone to enjoy. Cooking with a Dutch oven over open embers, gathering firewood, and mindfully experiencing the rhythm of the day with all five senses make every stay truly special. Guests also have the chance to spot local wildlife and practice mindful observation of the natural world. A highlight for many children is the birdlife surrounding the camp: the Red Kite is the largest bird that can be spotted soaring above.

Our night at Cornelius and Lukas's place was truly special for us. The flexible check-in gave us complete freedom, and we were still personally welcomed at 9 PM and shown around the property. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue area, and sanitary facilities, so we didn't lack anything. The bed in the shelter was super comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would gladly come back!

Lukas and Cornelius are super friendly hosts who genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. The shelters are located in an idyllic forest and well spaced out from one another, allowing everyone to enjoy their private space. Chopping firewood for the campfire, barbecuing, a hike through the surrounding countryside to the Traupe dairy farm, and a bike tour to the nearby Seeburger See in bright sunshine gave us two wonderful days.

The night in the shelter was a great adventure for our family. The bed in the forest is extremely cozy, and the four of us slept comfortably in it. The site is lovingly prepared, and Lukas and Cornelius are friendly and attentive hosts. We would love to come back.
