Waldpark Camp offers children a wealth of hands-on nature experiences right on-site. They can learn how to work with wood, identify different tree species, and discover mushrooms using our guidebooks. For quality time outdoors, a variety of games and board games are also freely available for everyone to enjoy. Cooking with a Dutch oven over open embers, gathering firewood, and mindfully experiencing the rhythm of the day with all the senses make every stay a truly special experience. Guests also have the chance to spot local wildlife and practice mindful observation of the natural world. A highlight for many children is the birdlife surrounding the camp: the Red Kite is the largest bird that can be spotted soaring above.

The Harz Mountains are an hour away by car, but you can enjoy mountain views immediately from here. A bike ride to Göttingen through the city forest, free of cars, is well worth exploring.
