Stay in a Yurt – Nature, Comfort, and a Touch of Adventure The yurt has a five-meter diameter and is the ideal cozy retreat for one or two people. It is reachable from Bern Main Station in about 30 minutes. In addition to magnificent mountain views, the location offers numerous excursion opportunities around Oberbalm. Seasons & Special Features Our yurt is perfectly adapted to the European climate. Two layers of thick sheep's wool provide excellent insulation, making the yurt habitable all year round. During the winter months, a wood-burning stove creates cozy warmth and an atmospheric ambiance. Breakfast CHF 25 per person. We are happy to prepare a delicious breakfast, which can be enjoyed by the fire indoors or outside on the terrace in the morning sun, depending on the weather. The selection varies seasonally but always includes many homemade delicacies. Garden Tubs The garden tubs are located behind the yurt and can be booked upon request. You heat them yourselves with wood. Cold Season (Oct.–Apr.) CHF 45 per person. Especially in winter, this is a wonderful way to warm up. We prepare the tubs for you and provide bath additives such as dried flowers from our summer garden and essential oils. Bath towels and bathrobes are provided. Warm Season (May–Sep.) CHF 35 per person. In the summer months, the tubs are also perfect for a refreshing dip. Garden Sauna Treat yourself to a relaxing break in our cozy, wood-heated garden sauna. We are happy to prepare three infusions for you. After your sauna session, the cold water pool provides the perfect refreshment. The sauna can be booked for CHF 25 per person; simple instructions for lighting the fire are provided. Please let us know four days before arrival if you would like to book any of these offers.
